This makes a delicious creamy frosting especially good on sour cream chocolate cake. My mother made this for every holiday and then some. Her recipe called for 1 cup margarine instead of the 1/2 Crisco but the Crisco makes in lighter in color. — SeasonedSoul Sep 22, 2007
