Cinnamon Pie

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by CindiJ

I didn't have a crust handy so added 1 cup Bisquick to make it an 'impossible' pie. It took about 1 hour to cook. Very tasty and will be a family favorite. Thanks Cindi. — Pilates Gal Nov 5, 2007

Better Butter

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by TruckCook

I also cut the recipe in half but am now on my second batch. Great for summer weather when you have to keep the butter in the fridge. It is easily spreadable right from the fridge. — Pilates Gal Jun 14, 2007

Classic Bran Muffins

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Kree

I have a very similiar bran muffin recipe and love it. They are delicious hot out of the oven or cold. You can substitute evaporated milk also. I prefer to add craisins instead of raisins. — Pilates Gal Jun 4, 2007

Make Ahead Wraps - OAMC

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Tish

This was so easy to make and so tasty. I used risotto rice since that was all I had but it worked great. DH thought I'd bought them at Whole Foods, though for him they weren't spicy enough! Thank you for sharing this one. — Pilates Gal Jun 28, 2006

Arabian Pita Bread

Posted by najwa

So easy and fun to make, I made them yesterday and confess there aren't many left. It's a quick and tasty yeast bread so I can make more as needed. Thank you for sharing it. I think I'll try some of the suggestions of substituting whole wheat... — Pilates Gal Mar 8, 2006

So good and so easy. After the suggestions, I used one clove garlic chopped and kept it in. I served it with Mini Beef Wellingtons Mini-Beef Wellingtons for a special dinner and let me tell you this will appear on our table often. — Pilates Gal Feb 18, 2006

This was so good and so easy. I halved it and served it for a special dinner along with Spinach with Brown Butter and Garlic Spinach Saute With Brown Butter & Garlic. We devoured it all. I think next time I'll use only 4 sheets of phyllo though. — Pilates Gal Feb 18, 2006

Faux Febreeze

Ok, it doesn't really need another review but this stuff is good. I am a pilates instructor and often wear my workout/work clothes just a few hours at a time. Just a spritz or two and they're good for another day. — Pilates Gal Feb 17, 2006

Peach Pie Muffins

Posted by FloridaGrl

I didn't taste a lot of peaches but my 1 pound frozen bag didn't produce much juice either. On the plus side, they are super moist and the little bit of corn meal gives them a very different texture that I really liked. A bit like the crumbly of... — Pilates Gal Feb 7, 2006

Fleisch Perisky ( Meat Buns)

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by Shar-on

Ok, yes they are lots of work but they are great for parties. Served it for Super Bowl and everyone loved them. Super easy after they are done, just keep warm and enjoy. I did find the meat a bit salty so might make my own onion soup mix and... — Pilates Gal Feb 6, 2006

Black Bean Sweet Potato Burritos

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Valeria

I made a couple changes. Cheddar cheese for the soy and halved the recipe but otherwise as written. I felt it needed something to spice it up. It is very filling and healthy though and worth playing with. I'll try it again and doctor the... — Pilates Gal Jan 17, 2006

Black Bean and Chocolate Chili

Posted by Kozmic Blues

I made this for New Year's eve and friends. Figured a double batch would be enough and have left overs but, darn it, it tasted too good. Don't let the odd seeming mixture of ingredients fool you. This is great. I'll have to make it again soon... — Pilates Gal Jan 1, 2006
