Alton Brown's Eggplant 'pasta'

Posted by Um Safia

This is simply amazing. I used lowfat cream and I cut the eggplant into strips and then salted them on accident and this dish still turned out very well. Next time I will use ricotta instead of cream to make it healthier. — BurtonFanatic Jun 22, 2009

Curried Split Pea Soup

Posted by Laura Zimmerman

Great! I used 2 tablespoons of curry because I like heavily spiced food. I also garnished this with low-fat sour cream and cilantro. Thanks for posting! — BurtonFanatic Jun 21, 2009

Pasta with Creamy Red Roasted Pepper Sauce

Posted by Richard-NYC

SO SO SO SO simple and equally delicious! I used a reduced fat Bousin garlic and herb cheese spread and it still had tons of flavor. I'll be making this again and again. — BurtonFanatic Jun 9, 2009

Hungry Girl Peanut Butter Cups

These are great. I've used both Better N' Peanut Butter and reduced fat peanut butter in this recipe and can't tell the difference taste wise. Thanks for posting. — BurtonFanatic May 19, 2009

Hg’s Lord of the Onion Rings - Ww Points = 2

I love these onion rings! This is the only recipe I use when making homemade rings. I mix seasoned salt and pepper into the Fiber One before breading. — BurtonFanatic May 19, 2009

Oatmeal Cottage Cheese Pancakes

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by bramble

Fast, healthy, yummy. I used fat free cottage cheese and added Splenda, vanilla and flax seeds. I tripled the batch and froze the leftovers. Whenever I'm in a hurry in the morning I just pop them in the toaster and they turn out light and crispy. — BurtonFanatic May 3, 2009

Baked Beets

Posted by sugarpea

This is the only way that I will cook beets now. It gives them such an intense sweetness. I use them in beet soup and sometimes I just eat them plain. Thanks for this great recipe. — BurtonFanatic Mar 22, 2009

Apple Ginger Pork Chops (By Guy Fieri)

Posted by Chef #558981

This was really good. I enjoyed the ginger and garlic with the pork. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because I prefer a sweeter sauce. — BurtonFanatic Dec 6, 2008

Turkey Breakfast Sausage Patties

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Picholine

This sausage turned out great. I didn't have any sage, so I used poultry seasoning instead (sage was a major ingredient in it) and I crumbled the sausage instead of forming it into patties. I am excited to use this recipe again for Thanksgiving... — BurtonFanatic Nov 9, 2008

Maris's Big Bowl O' Blob Dessert - Ww Points = 1

I love Hungry-Girl and I love this recipe. I used sugar free orange jello and diet cherry seven up. I also used regular cool whip because I am on the South Beach Diet and oddly enough, regular cool whip has less sugar and carbs. Thanks for the... — BurtonFanatic Nov 8, 2008

South Beach Peanut Butter Cup

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by AngelaTN

This is an amazing recipe! I am in phase 1 of the SBD and sugar free jell-o and ricotta creme are getting a bit old. I only used one tablespoon of peanut butter and this still turned out great. Thanks so much for posting this! — BurtonFanatic Nov 8, 2008

Surprise South Beach Mashed Potatoes

Posted by mlkweiss

This is an amazing recipe, even for those who are not following a low carb diet. These "potatoes" were smooth, creamy and delicious. I plan on serving these several times a week while on phase one of the SBD and working it into a regular... — BurtonFanatic Nov 3, 2008

I liked these a lot. You could tell there was something different about them, but you could never guess that there were black beans in them. I will be making these again. — BurtonFanatic Oct 4, 2008

Crock Pot Chicken W/ Black Beans and Cream Cheese...yum!

Posted by Jen Santiago

I made this with fat free cream cheese- which of course, is not as good as the full fat version. If I used the real deal, it would have been a 5 star recipe... so that's what I'm giving it. Use a salsa with a thick base to give it lots of flavor... — BurtonFanatic Jul 30, 2008

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by FlemishMinx

These were delicious. Easy and convinent. I'll be making these again for sure... the only thing I'll go different is add some sliced tomato in there. I think the tang of the tomato would contrast nicely with the other flavors. — BurtonFanatic Apr 28, 2008
