The Nation's Favourite - Podgy Porridge!

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by French Tart

This was great! I added the littlest pinch of nutmeg and used fat-free milk instead (omitting the cream), but I loved how creamy and decadent it seemed to be. I also kept stirring it and it seemed to cook quicker. — hellokitty Sep 19, 2007

Cinnamon Cookies

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by PetesNina

These were terrific, we made them for Christmas and cut them in thin rounds, they were chewy the first day and the next day (what was left, anyway) was crispy! — hellokitty Jan 2, 2007

Three-Pepper Spice Cookies.

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Nancygirl

These were a good, spicy cookie that was easy to make, the pepper leaves a lingering spiciness in your mouth that is great yet doesn't really overpower the texture of the cookie. I baked them for 8 minutes at 375 F. Great warm with a cup of tea or... — hellokitty Mar 31, 2006

Perfect Pasta With No Watching and No Sweating

Posted by Margaret3

I used spaghettini and 15 minutes, not sure if there's a difference between that and regular spaghetti but it turned out so soft but chewy, that perfect texture...what a great idea!! — hellokitty Feb 23, 2006

Copycat Mrs. Field's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Posted by Amy Henson

I like my cookies a bit undercooked in the middle and chewy on the edges, and this one was great! Followed this recipe to a T, it makes great chewy and soft cookies and have that perfect "cookie" texture. So yummy warm, but even better the next day! — hellokitty Feb 6, 2006

Egg Free Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Posted by Kree

I really wanted to like this, but for some reason they turned out really weird...kind of melty? I did use M&M's instead of chocolate chips, and they melted and the colors melted into the cookie, creating a weird-looking cookie. Sorry! — hellokitty Feb 4, 2006

Eggplant (Aubergine) Caponata

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by 1Steve

We had this for a Thanksgiving side dish, and it just gets better and tastier the more it is reheated as leftovers. So far I have had it in a turkey sandwich, alone cold, or warm on a piece of garlic rubbed french bread. All equally delicious, and... — hellokitty Nov 26, 2005

Chocolate Pumpkin Muffins

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by Kiiah

Terrific, easy recipe. Like suggested, I added 1/2 cup of coffee and it gave the cupcakes a nice coffee taste. Cupcakes Came out soft, fudgy, moist, not really a muffin, more of a cupcake. Also added a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg, the spices go... — hellokitty Oct 29, 2005

Healthy Pumpkin Muffins

Posted by Melissa

They came out very rubbery and tasted very "low-fat." A good hearty snack though, but not what I am looking for in a muffin. I did use all whole wheat flour as it is what I had, but I am wondering if that made the difference. — hellokitty Oct 27, 2005

Korean Hamburgers

Posted by wildheart

Very good, I fried the burger for a little bit and then broiled them for the rest of the time. I stir-fried onions, red/green/yellow bell peppers, garlic, ginger and white mushrooms for a topping and served with lettuce and tomato for a low-carb... — hellokitty Oct 25, 2005
