Irish Potato and Leek Soup

Posted by Loony

This was yummy. I didnt use tarragon but did use Basil. I also ommited the celery and used butter instead of oil to saute the leek , onion and garlic in. I lightly took to the pot with a potato masher when it was cooked rather than blended it.... — ozzygirl Mar 31, 2009

Kittencal's Almond Biscotti

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by KITTENCAL

I made this on the weekend and it turned out ok but I don't think you need to cook them for so long as mine turned out too brown. My Dad who is Italian said they were nice but too crunchy - he said biscotti is supposed to be a little softer. — ozzygirl Dec 14, 2008

A simply delicious and healthy soup to come home to. I did add some chilli sauce and some crushed garlic and omitted the celery as DH dislikes celery! It is a winner soup, and was consumed heartily by all! — ozzygirl Nov 23, 2008

Creamy Chicken Pizza Topping

I loved this pizza - minus pineapple because I hate pineapple - I substituted the pineapple with mushrooms! The creamy chicken topping was just fantastic. I will make this again and again on pizza nights now. Thanks Peter! — ozzygirl May 26, 2008

Delicious. I chopped just about a whole leek up and diced up 4 potato's. I also added 2 extra cups of veggie stock (I didnt use chicken stock). I didnt have nutmeg and it was fine. Thanks Tara for a delicious soup! — ozzygirl Nov 13, 2007

Creamy Chickpea and Tahini Casserole

Not a bad recipe. Hubby wasnt over thrilled with it, as he found it a bit bland, but I was fine with it. I did add some vegetable stock, more garlic and I sauted the onions and garlic like others have mentioned to soften the process. Hubby felt... — ozzygirl Jul 16, 2007

What a delicious soup. I modified it slightly by using field mushrooms, a bit more flour to make it a bit thicker and I also added thyme as a herb. Very very tasty soup. I will definitely be making this again. — ozzygirl Jul 8, 2007

We loved this as a light meal to eat on a hot night. I changed it, I didn't put any meat in it, or zucchini. What I did was used fresh chopped carrots and beans, frozen peas and corn (all cooked). Also I sauted chopped capsicum, onion and... — ozzygirl Jan 2, 2007

Seriously delicious. I didnt use celery in the recipe as my hubby hates it. I also found it cooked in 6 hrs 30 mins on low. I used bacon bones in the recipe instead of ham bones. It was so delicios I will be making it again and again. — ozzygirl Aug 13, 2006
