Good Eats Roast Turkey

Posted by Gay Gilmore

Brining the bird definitely made all difference in roasting the turkey! This is the moistest turkey I have ever had, I also rubbed some sage on the outside of the bird and it came out beautifully. — Kats' Meow Nov 29, 2008

Best pineapple cake ever! Made this for Easter and it was the most beautiful and delicious thing on our menu. Thanks for a great recipe! We liked it with just a dollop of whip cream on top too.. — Kats' Meow Mar 30, 2008

Best Banana Bread

Posted by lkadlec

This is my husband's new favorite banana bread recipe. I make it once a week! Sometimes we add 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans but it is delicious either way. Thanks for another great recipe! — Kats' Meow Feb 9, 2008

Madras Sweet Potatoes

Wow, who thought yams could get any better! My family loved this, the curry adds that something different we were looking for and topped with a little extra honey and butter, this makes a delicious side dish to many things. — Kats' Meow Nov 5, 2007

Banana Caramel Chocolate Chunk Cake

Posted by MarieAlice

I was looking for a banana cake to make my husband for his birthday and decided to give this a shot. He LOVED it, not too much banana flavor but a really good spice cake. A great item to serve to company with a cup of chai tea. — Kats' Meow Nov 3, 2007

Greek-Style Slow cooker Sausage and Artichokes

Posted by Barb Gertz

This was different from the usual crock pot meal and I think the whole family appreciated that. I would serve on fettucine also in agreement with the last viewer, this would be great with pasta but omit the potatoes. — Kats' Meow Oct 7, 2007

Ginger Chicken Asparagus Stir Fry

Posted by KITTENCAL

Fresh and flavorful, loved it! I sent my husband to the store who came back without asparagus... so I ended up using a bag of frozen brocolli and cauliflower instead and it came out great. — Kats' Meow Aug 23, 2007

Chicken Breasts with Spicy Honey Orange Glaze

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Dancer^

This was good except that I think we used too much orange zest. I am not a big fan of orange zest anyway though with this recipe, I would suggest using fresh instead of the dry packaged kind. It wasn't bad it just had a strange aftertaste. — Kats' Meow Aug 12, 2007

Blueberry Syrup

Posted by Aroostook

Perfect! I realized I was low on maple syrup so I decided to give this a shot. In order to have it thicken a little quicker I added about 2 tsp of corn starch. Everyone loved it! Not too sweet, not too tart, just right. — Kats' Meow Jul 19, 2007

Chicken Tenders (w W 4 Pts)

Posted by Bri22

These were easy to make and great for only 4 WW Pts. I too had to use double the mustard mixture and triple the breadcrumbs. Maybe the mustard mixture is supposed to be thinner? Mine was fairly thick with the buttermilk. — Kats' Meow Jun 7, 2007

These were sooo yummmmmy! I even got lazy and used canned buttermilk biscuits but followed the recipe otherwise. They taste just as good as they look. Nice treat for the family on a chilly day. — Kats' Meow Nov 6, 2006

Banana and Kiwi Smoothie

Posted by Charishma Ramchandani

This was a fairly good recipe. I didn't freeze the fruit b/c I was making it as a last minute idea and I used 2 bananas and 2 kiwis with 1 cup vanilla soy milk. I also added about a cup of ice cubes. It needs another ingredient, something to make... — Kats' Meow Oct 15, 2006

Greek Pastitsio

(8 people found this helpful) Posted by truebrit

I was hesitant at first because my husband doesn't like the idea of nutmeg and cinnamon in anything but eggnog or pie. However, the flavors bake into this really well and he went back for seconds and thirds! I love greek food so of course I loved... — Kats' Meow Jul 9, 2006
