This is delicious. Buttery, decadent, crispy, smells excellent. I made a half recipe... It worked fine with margarine. (I used it as that's all I had!) The flavour of this, with the tadiq, reminds me of hot buttered popcorn! — Iron Chef Ghetto Jan 27, 2006

I use pork, and very thinly sliced yams, and thin-sliced onions for a variation on this recipe. I also add a slight bit of ginger. It's absolutely fantastic, and cooks a lot more quickly. — Iron Chef Ghetto Aug 3, 2005
