Roasted Brussels Sprouts!

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Sharon123

Combined this w/ #59665 for roasted cauliflower. Did the sprouts for 20 mins, turned heat down to 375, added the cauli and roasted another 20-30 minutes. DELICIOUS! Even my sprout haters loved these, and I didn't think that was possible. And the... — Chef MB Nov 15, 2009

Roasted Parmesan Garlic Cauliflower

Posted by Marie

I combined this with #56103 for roasted brussels sprouts, and forgot the cheese at the end. Whoops! But everyone loved this. Even two picky girls who would normally turn up their noses at cauliflower. Easy and delicious! — Chef MB Nov 15, 2009

Pork Curry in a Hurry

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by I_love2nurse in Canada

We left school at 6:45, and this dinner was on the table by 7:30. Fast and DELICIOUS! We all loved it. I added a chopped yellow squash with the onions, and about 1/2 cup frozen peas with the pork. Can't wait to try with other leftovers, like... — Chef MB Oct 29, 2009

Flaky Blue Cheese Rolls W/Walnuts

Posted by Wildflour

Made these for a friend's birthday party and everyone loved them. I made one with the blue cheese and walnuts, made a second with feta cheese and black olives (which I preferred, but I already knew I didn't like blue cheese). Simple and... — Chef MB Oct 11, 2009

Greek Spinach Rice Balls

Everyone loved these at a family dinner. I made them a little smaller, and still delicious. I might try adding a small amount of feta next time I make these. — Chef MB Oct 11, 2009

Green Chile Hash Browns

Posted by Lorraine of AZ

FAB-U-LOUS! 5 stars are not enough. Made some minor changes--used fresh roasted green chiles from Pueblo, and used light cream soup, cheese and sour cream. Everybody ate seconds, and my two daughters scarfed up the leftovers for breakfast the next... — Chef MB Oct 11, 2009

Healthy Harvest Cookies

Posted by WI Cheesehead

The flavor of these cookies is delicious and my family loved them. For me, the texture is a bit on the heavy side, so I made try adding just a bit of baking powder next time, see if that lightens them up at all. But the flavor is really, really good. — Chef MB Oct 11, 2009

Chicken Pepperoni Delight

Posted by Nov30mom

Very good dish. Used a meat thermometer to judge the doneness of the chicken, but it was less than 90 minutes. Delicious, but I think next time I'll use a can of diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning to pour over the chicken. That was my only... — Chef MB Oct 11, 2009

Pickled Cucumber Slices

Posted by Jim in Washington

One DD loved these, but the rest of us found them just a bit too tart. I had made a large batch, so I stirred in a little extra water and some sugar (couple TB, I think) and let it sit overnight. The next night, we ALL loved them. Especially the... — Chef MB Sep 3, 2009

Cookie Pizza With Peanut Butter

Posted by Loves2Teach

Easy and had fabulous results. I made this for a friend's birthday and put M&Ms in the batter instead of choc chips. Baked as directed, did the choc. chips and pb on top, then decorated with the remaining m&ms. Smelled and looked great, she loved... — Chef MB Sep 3, 2009

Quick Zucchini Cake (Made With a Cake Mix)

Posted by mary winecoff

Excellent and easy! I used a Devil's food cake and added some chopped up homemade maraschino cherries I wanted to use up. Very, very yummy. The batter was very thick, but the cake rose terrifically. I added a little glaze made with cocoa, butter,... — Chef MB Sep 3, 2009

Marvelous Mustard Ribs

Posted by TeresaS

Really easy and really tasty. My 10 yo enjoyed helping rub the spices into the ribs. It was a tad to sweet for my taste, but everyone else really liked it, and the basting sauce cooked up beautifully on the ribs. — Chef MB Aug 16, 2009

Cornbread With Corn Casserole

Posted by Tonkcats

Excellent and easy. I used fresh corn on the cob, and subbed olive oil for the margarine. Oh, and I added a little shredded jalapeno jack cheese, maybe 1/3 cup. The kids really liked this, although I had to bake it just a little bit longer. — Chef MB Aug 16, 2009

Mom's Cheerios Bars

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by MOM of 3 under 3 Chef #369452

I followed the instructions to the letter, but this turned out terribly. The cake mix on the bottom stayed dry, and the marshmallows on top were burning before 20 mins were up. And my oven has been working fine on everything else I've baked, so I... — Chef MB Jul 31, 2009

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Laura36

This was hard for me to rate. My family really liked it and I really didn't. The dressing just came across too sweet for me. I may try again and just eliminate the sugar, and try the suggestion of adding chicken to make it a one-dish meal. — Chef MB Jul 19, 2009
