Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins

Posted by KC_Cooker

Nice and fluffy! I used lemon yogurt, and 1/2 lemon 1/2 vanilla extract, and halved the zest. I think next time all lemon extract and the given amount of zest. These were really good but didn't quite have the lemon zing! that I was looking for. — kittykat #2 Nov 22, 2009

Alfredo Sauce

Posted by Marg (CaymanDesigns)

Tasted lovely at first but seemed to get saltier as it was eaten. Very odd. Halved the recipe and tossed in some garlic, used canned condensed milk instead of cream. Think I'll completely omit the salt next time. Thanks! — kittykat #2 Jun 18, 2009

Champ

Made this exactly as directed and it came out awefully pretty but ... gummy is the only description I can think of. I may have slightly over cooked the potatoes and that may have been the contributing factor, but they did not go over very well and... — kittykat #2 Mar 23, 2009

Rumbledthumps

Made this for St. Paddy's day, I think I put too much cabbage in it. We liked it but were a little unsure as to weather we'll make it again. Thanks for the recipe. — kittykat #2 Mar 23, 2009

Irish Stout Chicken

Posted by LAURIE

The husband is not a big corned beef fan so I made this along with the beef and it was a huge hit! He ate most if it and asked if we could make it again. In my book that is a success! I used 1 cup of Guinness extra stout draught and 1/2 cup of... — kittykat #2 Mar 23, 2009

This came out just awesome! Much better than I would have thought caraway seeds and raisons could produce! It was a table favorite on St. Paddy's, I didn't change a thing, and will be making this again and again......and again. kittykat #2 Mar 23, 2009

Tofu "Eggless" Salad

Posted by Tonkcats

I'm not a vegan, or even a vegetarian for that matter. But I am HIGHLY sensetive to eggs. The problem is that I love them. So, I bought some tofu for soup and had some left over and thought I'd try this. If I don't think about it too hard and... — kittykat #2 Feb 20, 2009

Garlicky Oven Fries

These came out beautiful, but after 45 minutes were only 3/4 cooked. After the first 30 minutes I turned the heat up about 25 degrees, but they still turned out partially raw. Not sure what, if anything, I did wrong, will warrent further... — kittykat #2 Feb 5, 2009

Chocolate Peanut Butter Marsh Fudge

Posted by Ocean~Ivy

Great easy recipe! I melted the peanut butter first and poured it on the fudge and thin ribbons all over then poured the rest of the fudge on. It tasted faintly like peanut butter cups without that aweful graininess. I also made a batch sans... — kittykat #2 Dec 20, 2008

Made this for my thanksgiving dessert! So easy and sooo yummy! I shaved the chocolate on top and it was gobbled before I could get a picture of the whole pie! I'll post a picture of the LAST piece at a later date. Thanks for the easy recipe! — kittykat #2 Nov 28, 2008

after 4 minutes in the oven these absolutely melted everywhere. I caught the goo before it attacked my oven bottom, but these little cookies, made exactly as specified, turned into a gooey, melty mess. I turned the oven down to 325 and let them... — kittykat #2 Sep 19, 2008

I tried this recipe for use with blueberry pie. I doubled it, it was a little too sticky going into the pan, and it cooked up a little chewy. Almost as if the egg made it a little cakie. My husband loved the pie, but what man ever complains about... — kittykat #2 Jun 5, 2008
