Barbecue Rub for Beer Can Chicken

Posted by Melissa Spangler

For all the 5-star reviews this rub got, I was expecting it to be outstanding, but it was just okay. It made enough rub to cover the whole chicken, and smelled absolutely delicious while cooking, but it just didn't have enough salt in it, and I... — the6-sranch Sep 13, 2009

Pulled Pork (Crock Pot)

Posted by duonyte

Really, really delicious ...and EASY!!! Instead of a pork roast, I used country style ribs and I also added a some Montreal Steak Seasoning for good measure. It turned out excellent and I will definitely be making it again. — the6-sranch Jul 10, 2009

I loved this sauce! It was great-tasting and so easy. I only used 3/4 tsp. kosher salt and that seemed perfect. Thanks for postingthe6-sranch Apr 18, 2009

Red Enchilada Sauce

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Annie (Chef #21486)

Just delicious!!! I didn't have any chicken broth so I substituted chicken bouillon cubes and water, and used 1/2 cup less water because the sauce was kind of thin. That was the best sauce ever!!! I will NEVER buy the canned stuff againthe6-sranch Dec 12, 2008

Pumpkin Curry Soup

Posted by ChrisMc

Very good recipe...we really liked it. The only changes I made were to decrease the pepper to 1/4 tsp., increase the curry powder to 3 tsp., and add 1 tsp. of dried parsley for color. Oh, and I used skim milk instead of evaporated milk. — the6-sranch Nov 9, 2008

Artichoke Bread

This recipe is a great idea, but I thought the filling was kind of bland and the sour cream was overwhelming the rest on the ingredients. I think I will try it again with less sour cream and see how it comes out. — the6-sranch Sep 25, 2008

Crock Pot Chicken Taco Meat

Posted by * Pamela *

Holy Moly this is good!!! I needed a quick easy dinner and didn't have time for the crockpot, so I simmered it on the stovetop. I served it in warm corn tortillas and topped it with chopped red onion and cilantro. I am SO glad I found this... — the6-sranch Sep 16, 2008
