Died & Went to Pimento Cheese Heaven (Pimiento)

Posted by NcMysteryShopper

Okay, not great, IMO. I think it doesn't have enough bit with the cream cheese and MJ cheese, too much of both. — beth Sep 2, 2009

THE BEST Peanut butter oatmeal cookies

Posted by tamibic

These are good. It is a great "jumping off" recipe. You can do so much with it. I am sure chocolate chips has been done, but I bet they are fantastic. — beth Aug 9, 2009

Chunky Blue Cheese Salad Dressing

Posted by Luby Luby Luby

Good, but not quite fantastic!! It needs a stronger blue cheese flavor. I do like that it is not super thick, so it covers my lettuce wedge nicely. A good jumping off point....I re-rated this from four stars to FIVE!! After sitting overnight it... — beth Jul 30, 2009

German Plum Cake

Deserves ten star! Easy and excellent. I used sugar plums. I also did not have a lemon, so subbed a splash of lemon extract. Will make again. — beth Jul 19, 2009

Ramen Noodle Salad

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Precious Annie

I like this very much, but I think it is too much oil. I will definitely make again, but will cut the oil in half. I also think the sesame seeds really make the salad. I threw in some poached chicken breast and made it a meal! Thanks for a keeper... — beth Jul 13, 2009

Kittencal's Strawberry Shortcake

Posted by KITTENCAL

Tasty cake. I opted out of the almond and went heavy on the vanilla. I also baked it in a 9x13 and cut out shortcakes with a large biscuit cutter. I would make again. Your recipes are always wonderful. — beth Jul 7, 2009

Chorizo Taquitos

Posted by LifeIsGood

I am not giving this any stars as to be fair. The recipe is so easy and comes together so nicely, but I have come to the conclusion I don't like chorizo. I am not a sausage fan, at all. My husband ate two, I attempted one. I think if you know you... — beth Jul 1, 2009

Mexican Pinwheels

I thought these were good, not great. Make sure you put ample filling on the tortillas and roll them up tight, so they won't fall apart when cut. I think the filling is best on crackers. — beth Jun 8, 2009

This is delicious. I think next time I will use a few more sheet of dough. Also, I baked at 350 and it was done in 20 minutes, so be careful! I added black olives, yum!! — beth May 21, 2009

Cockeyed Cake

Posted by Tiggrr

I liked the ease of this cake, but it needs more chocolate power. My husband ate four pieces. I will most definitely make again, but up the cocoa. I too cut the sugar back to 2/3 cup. — beth Apr 24, 2009
