I wish I would have never made these cookies; I've turned into an oatmeal raisin cookie addict! This is, by far, the best oatmeal raisin cookie recipe I have tried - sorry Grandma! — Southern Polar Bear Nov 3, 2009

Low Carb Waffles

Posted by Gordien&Ali

My family loves these waffles, and requests them every weekend! The only thing that I do differently, which I highly recommend, is folding in one or two whipped egg whites into the batter. Yummo!! — Southern Polar Bear Nov 1, 2009

Boiled Peanuts in the Shell

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Spicy Little Sister

I have never made boiled peanuts in a shell before, but they are a nice little snack. I didn't have szechuan peppercorns, so I just used a mixture of black, red, and white peppercorns. Very good! Made for PAC Fall 2009. — Southern Polar Bear Oct 10, 2009

This is a fantastic recipe! I made it for dinner tonight after looking for something different, easy, and yummy! Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, so I ended up sauteing it on the stove instead of grilling it. Even my two girls loved... — Southern Polar Bear Jul 25, 2009

Zucchini Protein Bread

Posted by Abi Q

I admit that I didn't make this as written, but I don't think the changes effected it too much. I used 2 cups of King Arthur White Whole Wheat Flour instead of the recommended 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of soy flour. I also left out the pine nuts... — Southern Polar Bear Apr 16, 2009

This is a great recipe; so good that I deemed it yummy enough to go into my "Family's Favorites" cookbook. The only change that I made was to fry them in EVOO. Served with Soy Ginger Dipping Sauce (For Dumplings or Pot Stickers). — Southern Polar Bear Dec 31, 2008

Heavenly Caramels

These are, as the recipe states, absolutely heavenly caramels! They have the best flavor and texture of any caramel that I have eaten. They taste exactly like the caramels that I buy at a Mediterranean deli in Salt Lake City. It took me 45... — Southern Polar Bear Nov 27, 2008
