Honey-Baked Chicken

Posted by Jenny M

Used just 1 tbsp margarine and instead of curry 1 tsp onion powder. It was delicious and we will definitely make it again. I'll probably make extra for dipping though since it was a relatively light flavor. — Babushka Jul 16, 2008

We really enjoyed this! I added some diced onion and green pepper to the meat while browning. Unfortunately we were clear out of corn so I subbed dark red kidney beans-delish!! — Babushka May 25, 2008

We were not able to get the sundried tomatoes, so I used chopped stewed tomatoes in italian seasoning instead. We liked this recipe, but didn't love it. — Babushka Jul 25, 2007

I originally rated this 4 stars but my husband has been requesting it ever since and just gobbles it up!! I use 3 tbsp olive oil and 4 tbsp vinegar because I used large cucumbers. Also used just 1 tbsp sugar. — Babushka Jul 12, 2007

Delightful! I did cut the orange rind to 1 1/2 tablespoons, but changed nothing else in the ingredients. Ours was done cooking after 50 minutes. — Babushka Jul 12, 2007

Bow Ties With Tuna and Artichoke Hearts

We enjoyed this one! I couldn't find any 'marinated artichoke hearts' so I used plain, and I cut the oil back to 3 tbsp overall and used a 15oz can of diced tomato. The flavor combination is very nice. — Babushka Jul 9, 2007

Cherry-Coconut Macaroons (1 WW point)

I doubled the recipe and didn't quite get 48 cookies, but nonetheless they were very good. I added some additional flour so the cookies held together a bit better (probably needed it because of doubling). Also, instead of dried cherries I used a... — Babushka May 9, 2007

We tried this last night and it was just wonderful! My dh had seconds and took the little bit of leftovers for work today. The only change I made was to use 1/2 tsp dried parsley as I had no sage available. We will definitely make this again. .... — Babushka Apr 23, 2007

I served this with Christmas dinner and it was a hit. I used thawed frozen broccoli and had no problems. Substituted light sour cream and used dried minced onion to cut down on prep time. Will definitely make again! Thanks for a keeper. — Babushka Feb 22, 2006

A very tasty, and low fat, treat!! I found that the amount of allspice was fine IF you doubled the amount of cocoa powder. I just felt that 1 tsp wouldn't quite do it. We were very pleased with the results! Thanks for sharing. — Babushka Dec 11, 2005
