Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cheesecake

Posted by Marg (CaymanDesigns)

As a rule, I do not like pumpkin desserts. However, the chocolate offset the strong pumpkin flavor, and wow it is good. I got several compliments on this and now I can feel that I am an American on Thanksgiving. — shenriver chefin' Dec 1, 2007

Maple Brown Sugar Cookies

Posted by DebbiF

The directions were a bit vague. It said to wrap thirds in plastic wrap but did not say what to do with it. I wrapped it and chilled it for 30 minutes. Since this was my first time making sugar style cookies, I was not sure on how to get the... — shenriver chefin' Nov 24, 2006

Chicken with Red Lentils

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by dale!

I had to add 2 cups more water to the lentils to maintain enough liquid for them to cook. The lentils took longer than 10 minutes to cook--more like 30 minutes. The taste was quite good. I served the lentils and chicken over couscous. — shenriver chefin' Jul 5, 2006

Kittencal's Extreme Chocolate Brownies

Cheese Enchiladas

(5 people found this helpful) Posted by TammieV

We have made all kinds of enchiladas, but this was by far the best. My wife really liked the tomato sauce which mellowed the enchilada sauce. We also used Vidalia onions, and that took the sharp bite off. I know that we will make this again and... — shenriver chefin' Nov 28, 2005

Baked Ziti

Posted by Connie K

This is very good. I remember my mom always wanting Baked Ziti from the OG, but they did not serve it in our region for some strange reason. Now I will have to surprise her by making this great and easy dish for her the next time we are together. — shenriver chefin' Nov 4, 2005

Very Chocolate Cheesecake

This was better than the Cheesecake Factory! I paid about the same price for the cake as a piece would cost there, but I get to eat that whole thing! This was a very good recipe and the warning up front about needing to be a chocolate lover is... — shenriver chefin' Oct 29, 2005

Thoroughly enjoyed this recipe! We did not add the eggs (accidently left them out) and looking back, I think it was even better without them. Will maker this again for sure. — shenriver chefin' Aug 6, 2005
