Neil's Herbed Potatoes

Posted by Jacques Lorrain

We really love this one. And yes the recipe is right, 1 tablespoon of pepper. I guess we just like things spicy. The marinade and the grill give these potatoes a unique smokey flavor. Very good with barbeque chicken. — Gardenforhealth Aug 13, 2009

Old-Fashioned Soda Crackers

This is not a silly thing. These are wonderful. Treat yourself to an old time favorite and see what you are missing with those sad store bought crackers that crumble in your mouth like dust. These little beauties sparkle with salt. The butter... — Gardenforhealth Jun 3, 2009

Convection Oven Roast Chicken (For Toaster Oven)

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Chef Joey Z.

I wanted to find more ways to use my convection toaster oven. It took me a while to try this recipe, I wish I had tried it sooner. The skin came out crispy and golden brown. The meat was tender and moist. And the pan was full of fat that had... — Gardenforhealth Jan 30, 2009

Chipotle-Pepita Salsa

Posted by Dancer^

I really enjoyed this unusual salsa. The chipolte gives it a smokey richness. The pepitas give a crunch and a surprising nutty taste. It has a rich, spicy bite, not that burning hot taste you get from some salsas. I toasted my cup of pumpkin... — Gardenforhealth Aug 12, 2008

Yogurt, Homemade, from Good Eats, Alton Brown

(5 people found this helpful) Posted by Steve_G

I used my yogurt maker. I decided to start making my own yogurt because of all the extras you get in store bought yogurt. All the yogurt at my local store has aspertame now, which gives me horrid nightmares. And now I don't have to toss those... — Gardenforhealth Jan 29, 2008

Marinated Baked Tofu

(11 people found this helpful) Posted by Stellula

Note!!!! The Olive Oil doe NOT go in the marinade. It is only to grease the baking pan. I make this recipe using no olive oil. I bake the tofu on parchment paper, this cuts down on the oil used. — Gardenforhealth Feb 27, 2006
