Easy Almost Fat Free Cornbread

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by ladypit

Good for being low fat. Very dense, probably because I used whole wheat flour in place of the regular flour. Overall it was nice knowing that it's healthier then prepackaged corn bread. I also added splenda to sweeten it up. — jennybug Aug 8, 2005

Southwestern Pasta -- Practically Fat Free

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Mirj

WOW!! I am very impressed with this dish and it was SO EASY! I had to use a can of red kidney beans and a can of pinto beans in place of the black beans but it turned out perfectly. I put some cheese on top of my own serving - it was great. jennybug Aug 8, 2005

I made this today and it was great. I did make some changes 1. I didnt have any baking powder so I added a smidge more baking soda. 2. I used whole wheat flour instead of white flour. 3. I added chopped almonds. — jennybug Aug 3, 2005
