Great Great Aunt Jessie's 1940's Ice Box Cookies

Posted by TMoney

A tasty little cookie this is, I used a variety of nuts for it and it had a light buttery flavor and the nuts were great. I think if the nuts were toasted before hand it would be even better. Made for Fall PAC 2009. — bmxmama Oct 5, 2009

Really great tangy flavor and really simple to make. I did not simmer the sauce first instead I mixed it together and added it to the ground beef and cooked it just a little bit longer and added just a little bit of granulated garlic. Otherwise, I... — bmxmama Aug 18, 2009

Old Widow Walker's Ziploc Omelettes

Posted by Pot Scrubber

We made ours with tomatoes, basil, cheese and bacon. And they were so easy and fun to make. My ds had a great time shaking up the bag with the eggs and milk in it. I'm going to have to make these for camping. I did have larger bags than what was... — bmxmama Aug 15, 2009

Fabulous & Easy Potato Casserole Side Dish

Posted by plantfreek

I like this recipe it is very simple, however it's just a little to bland even though it's got rich ingredients. I did use frozen hash browns and they worked out perfectly and used a medium cheddar. Thanks for sharing the recipe. — bmxmama Jul 10, 2009

The Blue Mill Tavern Loosemeat Sandwich

This is a really interesting combo. When you put the 2 tsp of salt in the pan you think your going to go into salt over load but it actually doesn't. I added extra salt. However, to me it tasted to sweet until you add the mustard and pickles to... — bmxmama Jul 10, 2009
