Southern Sweet Iced Tea

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by ratherbeswimmin'

have been making sweet tea like this for years. I lived in Charleston, SC for ten years and my fiancee is a born and bred Southerner, so even though I would not drink this if I were in the middle of the desert, I make it all the time for him... — MillieVanillie Mar 13, 2005

Arkansas Hot Browns

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by newspapergal

I have been making Hot Browns for years! This is a good recipe to follow especially if you (like me) forget the proportions for the cheese sauce. I like to broil mine so that the cheese sauce gets browned. These sandwiches are spectacular! — MillieVanillie Mar 13, 2005

Cajun Corn and Shrimp Chowder

I have made this soup many times. The shrimp add interest and the onion soup mix give great flavor and texture. I love the zesty herb flavor. I would recommend this soup to anyone who loves shrimp like I do! — MillieVanillie Mar 13, 2005

Okay,I am a little behind in reviewing (due to my lurking habit). Anyway, this is the best soup I have ever tasted, and I am a soup conosseuir! I love the peanut flavor without the peanut butter flavor. The overall flavor is rich and substantial... — MillieVanillie Mar 12, 2005

The Best Banana Bread

Posted by Tracy H.

This recipe made the moistest most wonderful banana bread. It made enough for two pans and I just adjusted the cooking time down. Yummy, and highly recommended! — MillieVanillie Feb 1, 2005
