Sautéed Garlic Zucchini With Crumbled Feta

Posted by English_Rose

I made this recipe with 2 changes--I used rasperry balsamic vinegar (couldn't find the other) and I added grape tomatoes that I cut in half. Very yummy. I'll make it again. — Pepper #2 Jul 12, 2009

Wow, this is good! Instead of butter, I used olive oil to brown the outsides. The flavor is awesome and it was pretty easy to make. This absolutely will go in the tried & true for me. — Pepper #2 Apr 13, 2009

Collard Greens - It's Good for You!

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by ~Rita~

This is my new greens recipe. I made them at Christmas, and ever since, I've made them at least 2 times a month since. Because I'm trying to cut down on fat, I sometimes skip the bacon, and they're still flavorful and delicious. — Pepper #2 May 4, 2008

Linguine Tuna Salad

Posted by GrandmaIsCooking

Awesome recipe! I used whole wheat angel hair to make it a little more nutritious. It was quick and easy to make, and has ingredients I usually have on hand. It's going in the keep file. — Pepper #2 Feb 4, 2008

I really liked this recipe and will make it again. However, next time I'll probably add some spicier peppers to add an extra kick. Definitely a keeper. — Pepper #2 Jan 24, 2008

Dracula's Blood

This is one of my favorite party drinks--although we call it by a different name. It does get a little bit sweet after more than one or two. — Pepper #2 Oct 25, 2007

Tea Room Tuna Salad

Posted by Denise!

I liked this recipe, although I made a couple of changes. I added dill pickle relish and used Miracle Whip instead of mayo. The fact that it's french dressing lowers the fat content, which is great. Yum! — Pepper #2 Jul 22, 2007

Cajun Corn and Shrimp Chowder

Posted by ratherbeswimmin'

The flavor was great! I did make some additions, though. I added scallops and lump crab meat along with the shrimp. I also boiled some potatoes in milk and added them to the chowder at the end. I'll definitely make this one again! — Pepper #2 Jun 24, 2007

Creole Style Smoked Baby Back Ribs

Posted by CountryLady

We just made this recipe to break in our new smoker/grill and it was fantastic. We left out the celery seeds because we didn't have them, and omitted the Tabasco because we thought the other ingredients would give it enough zing. We were right.... — Pepper #2 Apr 7, 2007

Crab Cakes from Joe's Crab Shack

(4 people found this helpful) Posted by Gingerbear

These were awesome! I added a little bit of diced onion, used crushed Town House crackers instead of breadcrumbs, used low-fat mayo and baked the cakes instead of frying them. This recipe makes A LOT of cakes, so I'll half it next time. — Pepper #2 Apr 2, 2007

Beef Liver and Onions With White Wine

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Gay Gilmore

I've always liked liver and onions, but my husband wasn't a fan....until this recipe. The first time we made it, he said I should have used two pounds of liver instead of one! This recipe could make a liver-lover out of anyone. — Pepper #2 Mar 20, 2007

Crock Pot Ribs With Homemade BBQ Sauce

Hubby made this one for us and it was even better the next day. The only thing we will change next time is we'll add a little more hot sauce. We really wanted an extra kick! This one's a keeper. — Pepper #2 Oct 31, 2006

This tastes just like the gouda grits served at one of our favorite restaraunts. I made the recipe just as directed and served it with Broiled Mahi-Mahi with Parsleyed Tomatoes # 140432. — Pepper #2 Oct 1, 2006

Island Shrimp and Pineapple Skewers With Rum Butter Sauce

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by Pokey in San Antonio, TX

FABULOUS!!! My husband made this for a weekend get-together and it was the first dish to disappear. He left out the prosciutto and it was still great. The rum butter sauce is good not only for this shrimp, but also for dipping crab legs. I'm... — Pepper #2 May 14, 2006
