Fabric Softener

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by ~cbw~

I really loved this everything is so soft. Made major mistake last time I made it. Had quart jar and poured vinegar in too fast, what a mess. To make matters worse, after it died down I did it again. The softener is wonderful I am a klutz. — Chef #186917 Mar 21, 2005

I have made grape juice this way for years. The best. when all the young'un were home made it in half gallon jars, quart was not enough for them and their friends. My neice still asks about the juice when she calls. — Chef #186917 Mar 4, 2005

Wilted lettuce is one of my favorites, only we fried out fatback(salt pork) and used grease instead of butter. — Chef #186917 Feb 17, 2005

Green Tomato Jelly

Posted by Carolyn D

This sounds like recipe I have been looking for, I lost mine. I used ripe tomatoes and it looked and tasted like strawberry preserves. Going to try this for sure. — Chef #186917 Feb 8, 2005
