Mean's Lamb You Can Eat With a Spoon

Posted by kiwidutch

I did not use the full amount of wine, but followed the recipe otherwise. The lamb comes out so tender and tasty, it is almost like a stew. You'll be slurping up delicious sauce or mixing it up with other things on plate, because it is that good. — Dawn Jun 18, 2008

Caramelized Plantains

Loved it, reminded me of the meals I ate in Panama as a child. I loved the sweet plantain. This is a wonderful side dish to jazz up chicken. — Dawn Sep 12, 2007

Roast Chicken With Plantains and Onions

Posted by justcallmetoni

I used leg quarters, which required longer baking time, one hour. The chicken was truly scrumptious. I basted with the chicken broth while the chicken cooked and I made the plantains separate. The chicken is very flavorful and I imagine it is... — Dawn Sep 12, 2007

Bacon Wrapped Smoked Gouda Stuffed Chicken Breasts

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by sugaree

I loved it! Very easy to put together and flavorful, the Gouda cheese does not melt as readily as other cheeses, so the chicken breast retains it's stuffing much better. Will be a staple around here. — Dawn Sep 11, 2007

Crisp Panko Chicken Cutlets w/Tonkatsu Sauce

Posted by Ridgely

This made a great dinner. Panko is available at Albertsons and Publix now, so it was no problem following the recipe. The chicken was crispyy and the sauce complemented it perfectly. I had Yaki Soba noodles and stir fried them with the cabbage... — Dawn Aug 28, 2007

Amazing Chicken

(4 people found this helpful) Posted by KelBel

This was so quick and easy. I think I'll have to find a way to keep the cheese from running out of the chicken, maybe a little well placed foil. My family loved it-thanks. — Dawn Aug 28, 2007

Pinto Bean Soup With Fresh Salsa

Posted by Witch Doctor

The soup tasted great with the fresh salsa and sour cream. I ended up with too much liquid, so I discarded some and added some Cholula Roast Garlic and Lime seasoning to bring out the taste. I will make this again soon, it is great for a healthy... — Dawn Jun 23, 2007

Potato Bacon Rivel Soup

I added chicken broth as well, more bacon could easily be added as well. My daughter said it tasted like clam chowder without the clams. A good filling soup. — Dawn Jun 23, 2007

We had to add 1/2 cup of milk to get the batter to the right consistency, not bad though. A great recipe with a little tweaking. — Dawn Jun 23, 2007

Roasted Corn With Cilantro Lime Butter

Great taste, I think I'll have to adjust the balance of flavors a bit, the cilantro was a little strong for us. I'll be making this again-thanks. — Dawn Apr 14, 2007

Crock Pot Chicken W/ Black Beans and Cream Cheese...yum!

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Jen Santiago

We absolutely loved this recipe. The sauce was creamy with just a hint of Mexico in there. The only thing I would do differently would be to cube or cut the cream cheese into small pieces, so it melts and blends in more evenly. The sauce itself... — Dawn Apr 6, 2007

Hungarian Goulash

Posted by Scott Hansen

I used authentic Hungarian paprika, this recipe tastes great even with all 3 cups of chopped onions. I was a little skeptical at first. I didn't have the potato dumplings, but I'm sure that would've been an added treat. — Dawn Feb 3, 2007
