This is just great. Yes, it makes way too much, but freezes quite well and I am on my third,[and last], thawed meal serving for three folks. Not only great tasting, but frugal, considering the meals you can get out of it. — oxyk Jul 22, 2008

If ya don't want them too hot, put in one jalapeno pepper whole, instead of cut and let it cook the entire time. when the beans are done, discard the whole jalapeno. — oxyk Jun 10, 2005
