Sour Cream Coffee Cake

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by *Elaine*

Made this for dinner and it turned out wonderfully! I used ww flour and added a touch of baking powder to help it rise. I had a little splash of buttermilk left and that gave it the perfect touch. Thank you for a great recipe. This one is a keeper. — R Foodie Jan 18, 2006

Lemon Anise Thins

The flavors on this looked good so I printed it for someone to make for a progressive dinner party. I'm not sure if she had a problem or if the recipe is not right but they really spread on the tray and didn't look too good. The flavor was too... — R Foodie Dec 14, 2005

Exactly what I was looking for as a base for my Christmas neighbor gifts. Just enough flavor to be good alone but easy enough to "dress up" with nuts and drizzles. Thank you Charlotte for a great recipe!! — R Foodie Dec 6, 2005

Messed with the seasonings a bit and made a great batch of rings. Loved how crisp they were but I just hate all the smoke and grease smell in the house. This is a keeper recipe but I'll make it at someone else's home next time. Thanks... — R Foodie Nov 22, 2005

Almond Celery

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by MizzNezz

I cooked the celery and almonds in a little less butter and then added salt and pepper to taste. I didn't add the cooking wine. The flavor of the toasted almonds was very nice. It would be a good start to a salad with some strawberries and feta... — R Foodie Mar 30, 2005
