My Family's Favorite Sloppy Joes, or Pizza Joes

Posted by Hey Jude

Excellent sloppy joes! I didn't have celery so I added green pepper and followed the rest of the recipe exactly. I used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce and the joe's are delicious. Thanks for posting. — Lula Jun 3, 2008

The Best Chocolate Cake (Really!)

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Roosie

I made this cake earlier this year but forgot to review it. I'm so sorry...it was delicious! Not a heavy chocolate cake, light and the icing complimented it very well. It was enjoyed by all. I had to bake for an additional 5 minutes. Great recipe. — Lula Jul 26, 2007

Classic Black Beans and Rice

Posted by Dawn

I made these as directed and they are fabulous. I used sazon goya with annato (all I can ever find) but it didn't affect the taste in my family's opinion. Who needs rice? — Lula Jul 15, 2007

Short Ribs With Sauce

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by MizzNezz

I used a combination of boneless and bone in short ribs to total 4 lbs and the results are awesome. The only change I made was to brown the ribs after seasoning and dredging in flour before cooking for the 2 1/2 hours. No leftovers--great recipe! — Lula Nov 8, 2006
