Jolean's Butterscotch Pie, Pennsylvania Dutch Style

Posted by Stacky5

It would help to know how 'thick' we're looking for when working on the butterscotch filling. Really wish I'd seen the 'baked & cooled' part about the pie crust in the prep instructions, rather than taking the cooked pie out of the oven &... — katieok Jan 4, 2009

I took a short cut with the potatoes and used a bag of hash browns. This cut down on the cooking time. These will be really handy in the mornings! — katieok Sep 14, 2008

Fruit-Flavor Marshmallows

Posted by Lorraine of AZ

Egg Replacer

I used the flax seed meal (no grinding) & have tried it in several baked recipes. Muffins, cookies, pancakes. I have had to lengthen the cooking time on all recipes but it is worth it. Great substitute. — katieok Jan 12, 2007

I used frozen broccoli. Steamed the broccoli, cabbage and leeks in the microwave with no additional water. Super easy & great taste. — katieok Nov 11, 2006
