Falafel With Taratoor Sauce

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by evelyn/athens

I am very picky about my falafel and these were great! I did use a food processor and did so in batches, fresh parsley, and added three fresh jalapenos in place of the sweet red pepper, we like them spicey. Otherwise the spices were perfect. .... — Maeven6 Oct 28, 2009

I love my pressure cooker, always have. This recipe was perfect. the only change I made was salting and peppering the beef chunks before I braised them. Otherwise it was a perfect fit. They licked the pot clean and asked for more!! — Maeven6 Aug 11, 2009

My 12 year old now loves making homemade noodles! We increased this to 3 cups flour, 3 eggs, 2tsp salt (yes that much it softens the dough), and 1/4 plus a bit of half and half. I also like them better with a Tablspoon of olive oil and a... — Maeven6 Jun 26, 2009

Fried Green Tomatoes

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by chia

Great recipe! I didn't have buttermilk so I substituted plain yogurt. I liked it better because it was thicker. I only needed to dredged once because of the thickness. I also used coconut oil and butter mixed for the frying oil. — Maeven6 Jun 9, 2009

Excellent recipe. I did not let it sit for 24 hours. The whole Idea of a pressure cooker to me is speed and I was in a pinch. I also didn't add the cornstarch but served the broth over potatoes as it was. — Maeven6 Dec 15, 2008
