Asian Coleslaw

Posted by KITTENCAL

This was very good, but I prefer the sweeter version of Asian coleslaw so I added 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar to the dressing. With the sugar, it was 5 stars. Thanks for the recipe! — Claire #3 Jul 27, 2007

Caramel Pecan Sticky Bun Cookies

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Sharon123

Excellent cookies! These really did taste like sticky buns. I used honey in place of dark corn syrup in the topping. Also, I suggest doubling the topping, as 1/2 teaspoon wasn't quite enough. Thanks so much for sharing this unique recipe. — Claire #3 Sep 22, 2006

Starbucks Frappuccino Blended New and Improved Recipe

Posted by BUZY-LADY

It was a bit bland. I doctored it up a bit by adding more sugar and using frozen coffee cubes instead of frozen ice cubes. This improved it quite a bit. But as written, I felt it just didn't have enough to it. — Claire #3 Mar 11, 2006

The Best Bread Machine Challah

Posted by Mirj

This recipe turned out to be a disaster for me, but I think it was because I weighed my flour instead of measuring with a spoon. I wanted to be precise, so since flour weighs a little over a quarter pound per cup, I used 1 pound 3 ounces of... — Claire #3 Jan 19, 2006

Pumpkin Pie Bars

I made these a few weeks ago (right after the recipe came out!) and they are excellent. I threw a few chocolate chips into the streusel topping just for fun. — Claire #3 Nov 21, 2005

These were excellent cookies — very fudgy and delicious. I love the sweet/salt combo and used toasted, salted macadamia nuts. — Claire #3 Sep 5, 2005

Family-Favorite Macaroni and Cheese

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by ErikaNY

I have lots of macaroni & cheese recipes and so far, this one's the best! I served it at a dinner party where it was the main attraction at the Kids' table. Let's just say, it didn't stay only on the Kids' table. — Claire #3 Aug 14, 2005

This was my first ever tres leches cake and it was incredible! Don't know if I'd want to try a different recipe. I only had yellow cake mix on hand and it worked fine. Thanks Dawn and Chela! — Claire #3 Aug 14, 2005

Oven French Fries

Posted by Graybert

I followed the recipe as written and ended up with soft, flaccid, pale fries. A few minutes in the broiler crisped them up, so in the end, they worked out okay and were very crisp on the outside and very soft on the inside. I wish I could have... — Claire #3 Aug 13, 2005

Blueberry Pie

(6 people found this helpful) Posted by Bev

Thanks for the recipe! The pie was great. I did make one change, though. Instead of using flour, I ground up a quarter cup of tapioca in the coffee grinder and used tapioca powder as a thickener. It made the filling a little smoother than flour. — Claire #3 Jul 15, 2005
