Zucchini Chocolate Chip Cookies

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by mommaj

These were excellcent! They have a nice touch of honey and you can not taste the zucchini, which is great for picky kids. Word of advice, shred the zucchini very fine. My son spotted it and won't eat them now, but I love them, so more for me!... — Boff Sep 28, 2007

Chickpea and Lentil Soup

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Oolala

This was awesome! The only thing I did differently was add 1 minced garlic clove, and I don't have any cilantro. I was a little leary about the cinnamon, but it gave it such a nice sweat taste. I've been sampling it all day long and can't wait... — Boff Apr 9, 2007

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Posted by Wendy13

These muffins are fanstatic! I didn't have enough white flour, so I used 1 cup whole wheat and 1 cup white flour. I also used a full cup of the pumpkin instead of 3/4. (had extra) The muffins were still moist. I'm sure to make these muffins... — Boff Feb 8, 2007

Russian Toffee

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Sandra Hyde

I'm very disappointed, it's been 3 hours and the toffee mixture is mushy! Hopefully by sticking it in the frige, it will harden. My son is suppose to bring this to school tomorrow! — Boff Jun 14, 2005

Beef Roast

Pretty tasty, even my husband liked it and he perfers a pot roast. I made it in the crockpot so it came out well done, next time I plan to make it in the oven so it can come out med-rare. I saved the left over gravy and plan on using it for... — Boff Apr 27, 2005

Kahlua Cheesecake

I followed the other suggestions and used 1/2 of the kahula. I still didn't taste it in the cake. BUT, it was still great, very chocolately and super rich! For me it was a perfect chocolate, which is just as good!! — Boff Apr 20, 2005

Jo Mama's World Famous Spaghetti

Posted by Sharlene~W

I made this in the crockpot, I had frozen sasuage and was just lazy! It came out good. I didn't have red pepper flakes, but crashed, and put too much in, so I really couldn't taste the sauce, it was so hot! Have to try it again w/o so much... — Boff Feb 12, 2005

Beef Stroganoff Casserole

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by RecipeNut

This was out of this world!! The combination of the wine and mustard was great!! I had homemade dandelion wine that was too strong to drink, but it worked great for this! I also used leftover pot roast, but it's the sauce that is outstanding!! — Boff Jan 22, 2005

Bev's Spaghetti Sauce

This was a great recipe, I will make it from now on!! The only thing I did differently was I made meatballs and cooked them in the sauce (Berthas Meatballs #32384) I don't like meat in my sauce. I also sauted the mushrooms with the garlic and... — Boff Jan 16, 2005

I didn't have the spinach or evaporated milk. I did use regular milk. This came out great! Extremely tasty, can't wait to make it again, with the spinach. Love it! — Boff Dec 9, 2004

Apple Muffins

Posted by Mary Fillmore

My muffins turned out to be muffin balls, then I realized I forgot to add the oil! Even still they weren't that bad, but a little on the bland side. Perhaps some nugmeg would have added more flavor. — Boff Oct 9, 2004

Very good cookies, my son and husband even liked them! Of course I didn't tell them there was zucchini in them! I did add chocolate chips though to also get that chocolate fix. Cookies baked well too. — Boff Sep 15, 2004
