Pancakes

Posted by Ranikabani

This has become my regular pancake recipe...with a couple of changes. I use a 1/4 cup of applesauce in place of the egg and vanilla soy milk in place of the milk. They are wonderfully delicious and wonderfully simple to make. — _Ally_ Dec 28, 2005

Chewy Vegan Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Roosie

YUMMY!!! These cookies are soooo good!!! Everyone I shared them with gave me the "These are vegan?! But they are so good!" response. I didn't find them too hard to make. The chocolate chips did not mix well with the dough at all, so I ended up... — _Ally_ Dec 28, 2005

Wow!! This banana bread is awesome!! It's really moist. I followed the recipe exactly except I don't have all spice so I didn't put that in. — _Ally_ Dec 28, 2005

Super Healthy Hummus

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by Kasha

Thank you! I was so happy to find a recipe for hummus with out tahini (or peanut butter, which I'm told can be used as a substitute for tahini). As soon as I read your recipe I rushed to make it. I really liked it, it's great. The amount of garlic... — _Ally_ May 3, 2004

Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Posted by BB502

This cake is great. Easy to make and tastes good. The only changes I made were to use butter instead of Oleo and I skipped putting the batter in the fridge and baked it right away. I used almonds as my nuts for the topping. Thanks for the recipe! — _Ally_ May 3, 2004

sweet pasta salad

This is SO good! What a great tasting sauce! I absolutely loved this and will be making it again. It got rave reviews from my friends as well. I used spaghetti broken into thirds, and for veggies I used cucumbers, seeded tomatoes, and red peppers.... — _Ally_ May 2, 2004

Coconut muffins

These were really good. I found mine a little too dry, but will adjust ingredients next time to solve that. They got rave reviews from everyone else that tried them. Will definitely try these again. — _Ally_ Apr 28, 2004

Fresh Tomato Chicken

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Sassy Syrah

I really liked this chicken. It turned out very moist. I have made it a couple of times, once cooking it right away, and once preparing everything in the morning and letting it sit until afternoon. The chicken really benefited from the wait. I... — _Ally_ Apr 27, 2004

Heather's Stir-Fry Sauce

Gets 5 stars first off for being a great, easy idea. Tastes great too. I use beef broth instead of water for that little bit of extra taste. — _Ally_ Apr 27, 2004

Easy Banana Muffins

Soooo good!! These are nice and simple. I think the one bowl thing is a bonus as well. They are moist and have a good banana flavor. Look forward to adding chocolate chips next time b/c it would complement these muffins well. Another positive, is... — _Ally_ Mar 18, 2004

Garden Vegetable Soup

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Kannwilson

Didn't actually think I could make a soup, but I made this one, it was nice and easy and it tasted great. I doubled the broth (used beef broth) and tomato paste, left out the garlic, and used a bit more veggies than was asked for. Loved this soup... — _Ally_ Mar 11, 2004

Great and simple. Followed everything except I used margarine instead of butter. Tasted good. I got 12 biscuts from the recipe and they didn't last long in the house at all! — _Ally_ Mar 11, 2004

Quick Yellow Cake

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by MizzNezz

This is great and simple. Snuck a taste of the batter before baking it (a necessary step in the baking process haha) and was surprised that it tasted so much like the boxed cake mixes! But this is a lot better and a lot more rewarding than those... — _Ally_ Mar 4, 2004

Chunky Apple Muffins

(10 people found this helpful) Posted by Geema

Wow! These are awesome! I was looking for an apple recipe, but was too lazy to grate the apples lol, so this was perfect. It was the strangest batter I've seen for muffins since it looked all apple, but they turned out great. Made tiny... — _Ally_ Mar 4, 2004

Pancakes

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by MaeEast

These are really good. I don't normally like puffy pancakes, but had to make them for someone and I really liked these. They do soak up the syrup, but that doesn't matter. Topped them with canned pears w/the juice and with syrup. Yummy! — _Ally_ Feb 24, 2004

Najla's Lemon Chicken

Posted by najwa

This is a good easy way to prepare chicken. The first time I tried this I needed to cook for 4, so (being an amature chef) I doubled everything. Not such a good idea. 2 cups of water took too much time to boil down. The next time though,... — _Ally_ Feb 24, 2004

Porcupine Meatballs
