Fantastic Taco Casserole

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Leilani

Really good. Normally when I make tacos, I make extra meat for a taco pie. Hubby says that he likes this better than both the pie and regular tacos. A definite keeper. Thanks! — Colflower824 Oct 11, 2009

Delicious Chicken Pot Pie

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by alc47

I hate to be one of the sole voices of dissent, but I found the filling here a little bland. It was still a good texture, but I would have preferred it to be more flavorful. Next time, I will add a chicken bouillon cube; I feel like that would... — Colflower824 Sep 12, 2009

Filet De Boeuf En Croute

Posted by Wildflour

This is fancy and it looks cool, but I agree with the reviews saying this is bland. Also, it is easy to undercook because you can't actually see the meat. — Colflower824 Jun 27, 2009

Pulled Pork (Crock Pot)

(4 people found this helpful) Posted by duonyte

So good! This makes a lot, but it is a great, easy recipe. I hve a large crock pot, so I started it on high for about 2 hours then I put it on low for about 6 hours. Once I added the sauce, I only cooked it about another hour. It worked it out... — Colflower824 Apr 21, 2009

Autumn Apple Cheesecake

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Cheryl E

My very picky mother said this was the best cheesecake she's ever had! I only used 2 Granny Smith apples this time; next time I'll use 3+. I also drizzeled some carmel ice cream topping over the top since I have found that it keeps everything... — Colflower824 Apr 14, 2009

Fruit Salad

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Laura70

As suggested, I used only to juice from the pinapple, but it was still really soupy. Also, I substituted mandarin oranges for the peaches. I will probably try this again using even less juice. — Colflower824 Apr 14, 2009

Spinach, Tomato and Feta Quiche

Really tasty. Next time I might add bacon or sausage, but it was still really good. I just used tomoatoes on the vine instead of cherry tomatoes and it turned out great. — Colflower824 Apr 14, 2009

Spicy Hash Browns - Homemade

Posted by Malarkey Test

I like the idea of cooking these hash browns in the oven, but next time I will add a little more salt (maybe even a dash of garlic salt). — Colflower824 Apr 13, 2009

Italian Sausage and Tortellini Soup

Posted by ratherbeswimmin'

This is a really great soup. It is important to drain the sausage completely. As I usually do, I cooked the totellini seperately and add it as needed to ensure that the pasta didn't melt. Great recipe! — Colflower824 Apr 7, 2009

Yummy Crunchy Caramel Apple Pie

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Wendy W88

So delcious! In my house, it is just my hubby and I, so I was waiting for a special occasion to make this. It was totally worth the wait!! I don't use quite as much carmel as was suggested, but the carmel I did use kept the pie super moist.... — Colflower824 Mar 24, 2009

This soup was just OK. In the end, it just tasted like Velveeta soup. I will keep looking for a broccoli cheese soup recipe. — Colflower824 Mar 17, 2009

Potato Pierogies

Excellent dough. I added some cheddar cheese and minced onion to the mashed potato filling and froze what I didn't use right away. Very good! — Colflower824 Mar 10, 2009

Corned Beef and Cabbage in Guinness

Posted by Dee514

Yum!! A very flavorful version of a classic dinner. I reduced the sauce and added it over the meat before serving. It did keep the meat moist, but it does not refridgerate well so it wouldn't work for leftovers. Still, a really great recipe. — Colflower824 Mar 2, 2009

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

A great cookie recipe!! The pudding really does help keep them soft. There are so many variations you can make to this recipe depending on the type of pudding you use. I've made two batches: one with vanilla pudding and one with chocolate.... — Colflower824 Feb 24, 2009

Kittencal's Italian Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meatballs

Posted by KITTENCAL

Fab-u-lous!! I made these for a Super Bowl party, and then I just put them into a crock put and let people make meatball subs. They were a huge hit!! I actually thought I'd made too many, but they went so fast that there were no leftovers.... — Colflower824 Feb 23, 2009
