Tomato Macaroni Soup

Posted by Sage

This was great. The only changes I made was to add a bit of small-diced round steak to it and used a smaller pasta. The only thing I'd change next time would be to maybe leave out either a bit of the beef stock and sub with water or tomato juice... — Parrot Head Mama Oct 15, 2009

Pacific Rim Chicken Burgers With Ginger Mayonnaise

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Sharon123

These were really good. I wouldn't normally call myself a "chicken burger fan", but these were very tasty. The only point of contention I have is with the mayo, we just personally didn't care for it. I omitted the hot sauce in my kids' burgers... — Parrot Head Mama May 26, 2009

Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Dancer^

Really, really, really good. The only thing I'd change is to maybe double the recipe (I made it as written and it BARELY fed 4 adults and 2 small kids) and I'd increase the amount of ham in the recipe. — Parrot Head Mama Feb 6, 2009

Quick Four Cheese Pasta With Bacon and Peas

Posted by lawmama

EXCELLENT. I made this last night, and not ONLY did it only take 20 minutes to make, but I had clean plates all around. The only thing I'd change next time was to put the garlic in after the bacon is done to your liking...it wasn't quite crisp... — Parrot Head Mama Jan 21, 2009
