Prawns/Shrimp With Maryam Zaira Sauce - Nigella Lawson

Posted by Tigerlillyblu

I love this recipe! I could put this sauce on anything, and it takes about 2 minutes to make. I saved some of this for lunch at work and everybody tasted it and wanted the recipe. — JenPo Aug 22, 2009

Chocolate Covered Cherries

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Divinemom5

Very good! I'm a little slow, so this was very time consuming- but not at all difficult. Besides, everyone loves them! I ended up with waaaay more cherries than this (perhaps I was heavy-handed, or the cherries were small) and switched chocolate... — JenPo Jan 2, 2008

I took forever getting around to these, and now I have already made two batches. These are a great snack, and my daughter loves them in her lunch at school. Thanks so much for this great recipe! — JenPo Dec 11, 2007

Roasted Green Beans

Posted by Seamouse

This is my favorite new recipe. Although they don't have the same hypnotizing smell that french fries have, they are no less addictive after tasting. I just made them to snack on and need to go buy more green beans. Thanks soooo much for this! — JenPo Dec 11, 2007

Kittencal's Creamy White Buttercream Frosting/Icing

Posted by KITTENCAL

It was quick, it was delicious, it was simple. I was running out of time before my daughter's birthday and had to enlist my husband to make this. It held coloring well and tasted amazing on fairy cakes. Thanks so much for this! — JenPo Nov 16, 2007

Choctaw Pumpkin Cake

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by venus2

I loooove this cake. It was gone overnight. Next time I think I won't use frosting, because it made it a little too rich. I have reduced the oil (to about 1/2 cup) and I use frozen pumpkin puree (homemade). I also use a blend of Splenda and sugar. — JenPo Nov 14, 2007

Sticky Toffee Sauce - Nigella Lawson

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Tigerlillyblu

This is the best thing that ever happened to ice cream, I think. I halved the recipe for 2 of us. I would have eaten even more (probably made myself ill on it) had we not run out. — JenPo Oct 5, 2007

Easy Sticky-Toffee Dessert

Posted by Beth McClain

Wonderful! We made this exactly as stated (with a baking sheet underneath, and I am glad I did that) and it was so good! We served it with vanilla ice cream, but it was sweet enough and I think I prefer it alone or with creme fraiche. Thanks for... — JenPo Sep 24, 2007

Chocolate Chip Cookies (Grandma's from Scratch-It's Easy)

Posted by Jeannie McCurdy

These are the first chocolate chip cookies my husband ever made, and they were an immediate success! He found the recipe while I was gone and, with our daughter's help, made one of the best batches we've ever had. I thought he had bought cookie... — JenPo Sep 7, 2007

Broiled Figs and Yogurt

Posted by justcallmetoni

This was wonderful! I used plain yogurt (that's what I normally eat.) The recipe did not specify whether you should use Turkish figs or Black Mission figs- I used Turkish. Thanks for this recipe! Jen — JenPo Sep 5, 2007

Ham in Coca Cola

Posted by Sackville

I liked this method. I am not a fan of Coca Cola and so was skeptical, but it really turned out well. I also enjoy the variation of using Cherry coke as in her cookbook Feast. I don't feel that on an ordinary occasion the glaze is necessary, but I... — JenPo Jul 12, 2007

Chicken (Or Turkey) a La King

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Karen From Colorado

This was great! I added fresh mushrooms, and used biscuits to serve them with. I felt like the quality of the chicken bouillon I used really boosted this dish. My husband thanks you! Edit* I have begun using 4 T butter, 1/3 c flour, and 2 1/2 c... — JenPo Jul 12, 2007
