Zucchini Bread with Blueberries

Posted by sugarpea

This tasted great. I did something wrong and it stuck to the pan so it wasn't very pretty. I only had 2 cups of blueberries, so added 1 cup of walnuts and used 5 small loaf pans for about 40 minutes. — sheepdoc Aug 27, 2009

Zucchini Chocolate Cake

Posted by Charlotte J

Kids got a free baseball bat-sized zucchini and wanted zucchini chocolate cake. This was excellent. Left the nuts out and frosted with chocolate frosting. — sheepdoc Aug 27, 2009

Bisquick Zucchini Bake

This is similar to a recipe I've made for years, but I use 4 cups of grated zucchini, in a 13x9 pan. — sheepdoc Aug 27, 2009

Lentil Tabbouleh

I like the traditional parsley kind better. Way too much mint. I didn't have any vegetable broth. Thought about using chicken but didn't. Maybe that would have been better. — sheepdoc Aug 8, 2009

This is really, really good even without the bean sprouts. I did have to use more oil, though. — sheepdoc Jun 28, 2009

Chilled Oriental Chicken Pasta Salad

This was really good with leftover sliced steak. I didn't have any sesame oil or sesame seeds but it was still very tasty. Even my DH who thinks every meal has to have a hot chunk of meat, preferably with mashed potatoes and gravy, liked this on a... — sheepdoc Jun 28, 2009

Banana Banana Bread

Posted by Shelley Albeluhn

The first time I made this it was really gooey in the middle. This time I followed various suggestions of other posters. Used 1/4 cup salad oil instead of butter, used 5 very ripe bananas, 1 tsp vanilla, about 1/2 cup of walnut halves and pieces.... — sheepdoc Jun 28, 2009

Chicken Stewed With Olives and Onions

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by ~Rita~

This was excellent with rabbit (2 fryers, cut up). DH is not fond of tomato-y foods, so I used cream of chicken soup instead of tomato paste. — sheepdoc Jun 28, 2009

Crock Pot Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken

Posted by Mirj

Made this with rabbit (2 whole fryers). Crockpot on low 5 hours. Picked the meat out, then strained the liquid to get the bones out and thickened the liquid with cornstarch. Served over basmati rice. It was fabulous! — sheepdoc Feb 7, 2009
