Pulled Pork (Crock Pot)

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by duonyte

This is just soooo good! I use Sweet Baby Rays too but use 2 bottles instead of one. I also cook on high for about 6-7 hours, then add the sauce and cook another 1-2 hours. Its ridiculous how easy this is, especially given the taste! — Summer's Mommy Nov 14, 2009

Pan-Roasted Broccoli

Posted by Roxygirl in Colorado

I replaced the 3 Tbsp water with a 1/4 cup of bottled teriyaki marinade and added some minced garlic in with the broccoli. Delish! Even 3 year old DD would eat it! — Summer's Mommy Nov 2, 2009

Oh my goodness! This was to die for! Will be making again and again! I've made it a couple times now using Malibu rum, a coconut cream pudding mix, and throwing a handful of coconut unto the batter. MMMMMM. — Summer's Mommy Nov 1, 2009

Madeline Roseland's Dirty Rice

We looooved this! I used only ground beef and about 2 lbs of it and used chicken broth instead of the turkey drippings. I also used onion powder instead of onions. So delicious and I'm already thinking about when I'll make it again as I type...... — Summer's Mommy Oct 9, 2009

Applebee's Honey Grilled Salmon

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by DonnaR

Very good!!! I've never had Applebee's but I was looking for a good salmon recipe and this fit the bill... I cut out the vinegar because I was out and I really don't care for vinegar anyway and didn't notice any problem with the recipe. My... — Summer's Mommy Oct 9, 2009

Stuffed Potatoes Weight Watchers Style

Posted by Marsha D.

DH has just recently started WW and he loved this recipe as did my non-WW parents. I made with Spinach-Ricotta Rolled Turkey Breasts, as pictured. I followed the recipe exactly except for substituting onion powder for onion, since my dad is sensitive to onion. — Summer's Mommy Jun 22, 2009

Lobster Tail Francaise

Posted by BoxO'Wine

DH gave it 5 stars - he loooooooved it! I have never made lobster before so this was perfectly great for a lobster newbie I was out of cornstarch so used flour instead, skipped the scallions, and used 1/2 tsp dried instead of fresh parsley. I... — Summer's Mommy May 22, 2009

Watermelon Baby Carriage

Posted by Jess4Freedom

Had seen these made before but was glad to find actual instructions. Looked so cute - my only problem was the toothpicks didn't want to stay in the middle of the oranges. I hope someone makes one of these for my baby shower next month, lol Summer's Mommy May 18, 2009

Ladybug Appetizers

I have no idea how these taste because I am lactose intolerant but I am giving them 5 stars for cuteness! I made these for a baby shower where I happened to know the baby's nursery theme was ladybugs and they were a huge hit with the expecting... — Summer's Mommy May 16, 2009

Camie's Easy Peach Cobbler

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by Cuistot

I would give this 100 stars if I could!!! It didn't LOOK awesome when I took it out of the oven, but the taste blew every other cobbler I've ever eaten out of the water. I sprinkled cinnamon on the peaches before I added the topping, skipped the... — Summer's Mommy May 10, 2009

Beef Tips

This was good over egg noodles - my husband really liked it but I found it WAY too salty tasting (and I don't normally have that problem). UPDATED: I tried Lennie's suggestions reducing the soy and worcestershire sauces and used 1/3 c of burgundy... — Summer's Mommy May 9, 2009

Steph's Pork Riblets

Posted by Steph_40135

I too cooked mine in the crock pot for 8 hours on low and they were so tender, literally fell off the bones. My trouble with the recipe is I couldn't get past the excessive soy saucey flavor - it was too much for me. DH loved it though. I think... — Summer's Mommy Mar 22, 2009

Mexican Rice

I really liked this. I didn't make exactly as directed because I am pregnant and trying to stay away from too much spicy-ness! Instead of onion, jalapenos, and the tomato products, I used a can of mild Rotel. I thought the texture of the rice... — Summer's Mommy Mar 22, 2009
