Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin

Posted by DrGaellon

This was a really great, easy pork recipe. I am always looking for a way to make moist pork. I made it with a side of baked beans and brown rice. My family loved it. — Blakey Nov 13, 2009

Mushroom Wild Rice Side Dish Casserole

Posted by yooper

Great casserole. I made it as a side with some "unfried" Chicken. I did not use all wild rice, I bought a brown rice/barley/wild rice mixture from Trader Joes. It worked well. — Blakey Nov 8, 2009

Moist Lemon/Orange Zucchini Muffins

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Bergy

I really like the citrus flavor. I added a tad more lemon & orange juice (juice from 1/2 fruit each). They came out a tad brown around the bottom and edges, but it may be my oven. Will try again and reduce the temp or cooking time. — Blakey Jun 30, 2009

Artichoke and Fennel Salad

Posted by Phil Franco

This is a good recipe, considering I am new to fennel. It was crisp and clean, but lacked a little something. I added more lemon juice and olives. Overall, good for a summer BBQ or with grilled chicken — Blakey Jun 5, 2009

Baked Hamburger Casserole

This recipe was strange - good flavor, but odd looking I have never "cooked" with croutons before and thought I would give it a try. My 5 yr old son helped me prepare the milk/egg mixture, and he wasnt even sure about eating the casserole. Just... — Blakey Dec 10, 2007

Tilapia Baked & Wrapped (Chinese Style)

This was great and easy fish. The list of ingredients is not something I always have on hand, but now that I do, I will use them for sure!!! Very moist and flakey. Made with Dan Dan noodles for Chinese New Year — Blakey Feb 20, 2007

Szechuan Dan Dan Noodles

YUMMY! I really liked the outcome of this dish. I did read the 1st review stating too much vinegar so I made a few adjustments. I made the sauce according to the directions, but added about 2Tbsp more of soy sauce and 1Tbsp peanut oil and... — Blakey Feb 20, 2007

Cobbler Cake Sugar Free

Posted by Chef Hoosier

This cake was pretty good for being sugar free. It was moist due to the applesauce and added fruit cocktail. I served it with some fresh cut strawberries on top. (and Cool Whip for my non-diabetic friends!) I will save it and use again — Blakey Feb 20, 2007

Corn, Bean and Chickpea Salad

Posted by Karen McLean

I recently made this for a pot luck at work. A bit too "vinegary" for my taste, but VERY easty to make and modify. I only used 1 onion and 1 garlic clove. I will definatley make it again with less vinegar. — Blakey Feb 23, 2005

Crock Pot Beefy Spanish Rice

Posted by Lennie

This was pretty good - I changed it up a bit. Used 1lb ground beef and 1 lb ground turkey, and brown rice. I also had to use about 3 cups water (because of the brown rice). My husband let it cook for about 7 hours, which is a bit too long. It... — Blakey Feb 23, 2005

These are GREAT! I made them for Super Bowl - I added chopped black olives and garlic powder to the pepperoni and cream cheese (which made it extra good) Even my 2 yr old liked them. — Blakey Feb 7, 2005

Broccoli Jicama Salad

I made this for a healthy "Super Bowl" snack. I thought it was great - but DH wasnt so fond of it. He didnt like the dressing. I did use FF yogurt and mayo - that could be the problem. I enoyed it and brought some to work with me today. — Blakey Feb 7, 2005

Baked Stuffed Jalapeños

These are very good! I have an old recipe that calls for cornflakes instead of breadcrumbs, but I like the texture of the breadcrumbs much better. They didnt brown, but the flavor and texture was great. I only bought 5 jalapenos, since it is... — Blakey Nov 18, 2004

Baked Spaghetti Casserole

This is SO YUMMY! I used jarred sauce (didnt have time to make my own) and found I used about 1 1/2 jars, although I like things saucey. The cheese in the middle was the best and it is enough for the whole family. Very good, will make again — Blakey Nov 18, 2004

Crock Pot Apple Pie

(4 people found this helpful) Posted by Christmas Carol

My husband loved this recipe. I think it is best over ice cream, not really a pie, mine came out more like a cobbler, and was done in 5 hours. I used Granny Smith apples and low-fat Bisquick. Good for families and fairly easy to make. — Blakey Nov 18, 2004
