Cooking Q & A Forum

TOPIC: Freezing bananas

reviewer icon

From: VickyJ

On Monday, July 06, 2009

quote I am sure this has probably been asked before. I have a bunch of bananas that are ripening a lot faster than usual. When I have frozen bananas in the past, they turn brown. Is there a way to freeze these and use them later for bread/muffins, etc? .............or, is this not a good idea? quote

RECIPE: Green Tea Berry Smoothie

OK, personal preference only, didn't like the texture. Used both the wheat germ and flaxseed. Think I will keep those for adding to my baking. On taste, however, it was very good! I used mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries),...
