quote I really like the concept of green bean casserole but i truley HATE mushrooms, and while i could make it the way it says with the cream of shrooms soup i would sit thru dinner and pick every remnant of mushroom out before i ate it ..lol

RECIPE: Chunky Mushroom Barley Soup

This was very good but subtly seasoned. I added some milk and poultry seasoning as well as an additional chicken bouillion cube. I like the idea of sauteing the onion and mushrooms in butter as I think that would add more flavor too.
