I'm making and just realized I don't have enough basmati. Do you all think Jasmine could be a good alternative in this recipe or just scrap the dish altogether? Can't remember the difference between the two...am making with tuscany halibut in foil packets tonight. Anyone?

RECIPE: Costa Rican Jalapeno Pepper Steak
Very tasty and came together quickly when the steak was pan-fried. I think that a little bit of garlic and maybe sun-dried tomatoes would be delicious, though, perhaps, not necessarily very 'Costa Rican'!

RECIPE: Costa Rican Raisin Cake
We enjoyed this raisin cake, will definitely make it again! Next time I will add some rum to the raisin/nut mixture, I know it will be delicious! My cake was done in 40 minutes, this is a nice easy recipe.

RECIPE: Costa Rican Raisin Cake
This cake is absolutely delicious! I added the beaten egg to step number 5. I added the flour, cream of tartar and baking soda together in a bowl (Step 6). I added the flour mixture to the butter/sugar mixture alternating with the milk (Step 6)....
