Retro-Burger Topping

Posted by jp mims

This mixture reminds me of the old-timey drive-in burger joints. I found this on the web a few years ago, but can't remember which site to credit. MORE»

Clam Chowder

Posted by jp mims

This New England style chowder uses powdered coffee creamer instead of the usual milk or cream. This would be a good recipe to take camping since the only ingredient that needs prior refrigeration is the butter or margarine. MORE»

Tilapia Casserole

(20 reviews) Posted by jp mims

Only four ingredients, easy and oh so good! The orginal recipe calls for frozen flounder, but I've found that the Tilapia works better in this recipe. I've updated to change the cooking time from 30 minutes to 45 minutes after reading the reviews. MORE»

Fish House Cole Slaw

Posted by jp mims

This is a vinegar base slaw. Great make ahead dish. Plus it's a safer slaw to take to a hot summer cook-out than your mayo base slaw. Also, it will keep for well over a week in the refrigerator. MORE»

Lemon Cucumbers

(1 reviews) Posted by jp mims

A change from the usual vinegar cucumbers. A great combination of sweet and tart. Cucumbers will "juice" as they chill. MORE»
