Yummy!!!!! Very tasty and filling. I did not have a can of French Onion Soup so I used a dry pack of Lipton Onion Soup mix, mixed with 10 1/2 ounces of water.

Thank you for sharing this recipe! It was easy and had wonderful flavor. I had forgotten to purchase egg noodles at the grocery store and didn't have enough time to make my own pasta, so i served the steak and gravy over mashed potatoes instead. Very tasty!

This is the recipe I use. Everyone LOVES it. I usually double the "gravy" ingredients though. Dh likes to have tons to pour over mashed potatoes. I also use seasoned bread crumbs...otherwise the "steaks" are a little bland for our tastes.

This is one of my favorite recipes! I can't believe I've been looking for it for over a year and never found it here before. This recipe is one of the best out there for ground beef. The gravy is awesome and the meat is juicy and flavorful. Serving over egg noodles OR mashed potatoes are both awesome! Thanks for posting this.

I give this two thumbs up. Made these for dinner last night and to say they were a hit is an understatement. In 16 years of marraige my husband has NEVER asked me to make something every week for dinner until now. We're just a family of three and there was nothing left by dinner's end. This is definitely a keeper.

This is a staple in my recipe file. I love it. I also serve with mashed potatoes and double the sauce mixture. This is sooo good!

This recipe was great. My family really enjoyed it. I served it with mashed potatoes and green beans rather than noodles. I will be making this again. Thanks for the delicious and soooo easy meal idea.

from the other reviews I thought it would be great, but it really isn't a regular "salisbury steak" recipe... too tomatoey and worc. saucey tasting for us.

Very good taste. My family likes more "gravy" so I added a can of beef consomme soup and 2 T horseradish for added zip. My patties didn't stay together well but it just added a bit of lumpiness to the gravy. We used mashed potatoes rather than noodles.
