6 Reviews of Lasagna Roll Ups

This was delicious!!! I was skeptical about the amount of spinach, but it was WONDERFUL! I made mine with whole wheat lasagna noodles, used a total of 2 jars of sauce (mmmm saucy!) and made 12 roll ups out of the filling. I topped with some browned beef (cooked with some minced garlic and onions for a little extra kick) and just tossed it on there with a little extra mozzarella. I covered my roll ups for the first 25 minutes of cooking and uncovered the last 5 to help melt the cheese and thicken the sauce a bit. SUPER GOOD! Thank you so much for the fabulous and EASY recipe!

This was delicious and easy! I added ground beef and cut back considerably on the spinach. Otherwise kept the cheese amounts same as the recipe. My advice is to add sauce till you think it's enough and then add more! It would be pretty hard to screw up this recipe. YUM!Thanks for posting!

BRILLIANT recipe - very easy and hands on fun - (get the kids involved or your dinner date for a fun time in the kitchen.). Really nice taste and consistency. For a low fat version, I subbed low fat cottage cheese for the ricotta and topped with grated fat-free mozzerella and added Italian spices and lots of fresh garlic. Also freezes up well for take-along lunches!

I love these! I do make mine slightly different. From personal preference, I use cottage cheese in place of ricotta cheese. I use about 2 cups total of grated parmesan cheese- I cup in the cheese mixture and 1 cup on top with some mozzerella. Oh- and I usually add in about 1 lb of turkey burger or sausage too.

this is a great recipe, I have yet to find a jar spaghetti sauce that I like so I use my own. This allows a lot of room for improv. I usually add some cottage cheese and italian sausage
