Exactly what I was looking for! I did mine with sliced smoky links, crumbled bacon, sliced mushrooms, green pepper, onion, and cheese. Word to the wise: You really do need a 9-inch pie shell, and if you're using extra-large eggs, you should cut back by one, or it'll overflow.

great prototype recipe - the proportions are good and the variations are limited only by the imagination. i used whatever i had on hand - roasted orange bell peppers, mushrooms, cheddar and plum tomatoes. was a very satisfying meal.

Fast & easy. I used eggbeaters (1-1/4 cups) and fat free 1/2 & 1/2. Added fat free shredded cheddar, coarsely chopped baby spinach, chopped red onion, sliced baby bellas, chopped fresh parsley and salt & pepper. Tons of possibilities!

Wonderful recipe to play with. I added about 10 slices of thick cut pepper bacon, crumbled, a cup of sharp cheddar cheese and some sauteed onions. Perfect! I can't wait to try new variations. Thanks!

This is some yummy stuff! I made this last week for my mom because she had a friend over for brunch. I used diced ham, frozen thawed broccoli, cheddar cheese, and mozarella. It was AWESOME! Thanx for a great recipe!

I did this with Crabmeat, shrimp & chopped Clams. Used swiss cheese, chopped onion. Made a terrific Seafood Quiche.

i made this quiche with a homemade crust, and added cheddar cheese and cooked crumbled sausage.it was so simple to put together and tasted awesome. the texture was just right, and the hubby took it to work for lunch until it was gone. i'm making it again tonight with spinach and mushrooms and i'm sure it will be just as tasty. thanks mama tia!
