This brings back memories! My father used to make the same thing for us on Saturday mornings, except without the butter. He had his own special proportions and I have never quite been able to make it taste the same. Must be a dad thing.

This is the best recipe. My family loves it and it is so simply to make and have on hand.

We thought this tasted like the peanut butter kisses that come in the orange and black wrapper at Halloween. My 2 year old granddaughter wanted to eat it without bread. She kept saying this tastes good. I served this with Girl Scout Ground Beef Stew Girl Scout Stew. Thanks CRYSTALINA Haldeman.

Honestly, this recipe ended up being far too sweet for me to enjoy. I have heard of people eating peanut butter and honey sandwiches, so perhaps my dislike has more to do with my own personal preferences than it has to do with the recipe itself. My brother also ate some and he thought it was pretty good.
