This barbecue sauce is to die for. It is very bold and spicy, but it has the perfect blend of flavors. This is great with PaulaG's Memphis Style Baby Back Ribs #98940 or just about anything I would imagine. Hubby was even dipping potato chips in it.

A delicious, versatile bbq sauce. I used it with Kree's #95569 bbq chicken sandwich recipe. I omitted celery seeds, used celery salt instead and only used 1 teaspoon liquid smoke. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks, PaulaG!

good sauce. i will use tomato sauce rather than ketchup next time and increase the cayenne and chili. A bit too sweet and not spicy enough for our taste.

This is some great tasting stuff!!! I made it a day ahead to use with Kree's bbq chicken sandwich #95569. It was so flavorful and the spiciness of it was just perfect for our tastes. This is become a regular around here....Thanks Paula

Excellent sauce! I made this for Paula's Memphis Style Baby Back Ribs #98940 but I'm sure it would be great on just about anything. Lots of flavor, kind of spicy and very easy. I'll make this again. Thanks, Paula!!

This sauce is WAY too spicey for our taste-and we like spicey. All I could taste was the black pepper. If I make it again I will use a teaspoon of black pepper and probably omit the cayenne.

Wow! Really good sauce. I've found so many really good bbq sauces on zaar, and this one does not disappoint. Good and tangy, sweet, with just a bit of spice, but nothing overpowering. I made this last night and let it sit in the fridge, and today it's more mellow as far as spice, but the flavors balance nicely. This is going to be used in some sloppy joes tomorrow, as dinner plans for tonight have changed, and it's gonna be great. Thanks for sharing a wonderful recipe. I used a touch more liquid smoke, as mine was weak, and added a bit of molasses. No other changes.

Love this sauce! Really smokie, tasty, spicy. Yummo. Note to Aussie/Kiwis - I did cut back on the chilli powder to 1 teaspoon. Also let it simmer for a lot longer than stated. Was worried about the amount of pepper but made sure it was really finely ground and also found that it mellowed with the simmering. Also found the flavours the next day really came together. Served with Paula's Memphis Style Baby Back Ribs. Also excellent on BBQ sausages. Thanks for posting

This was really good! I made a lot of adjustments because of the ingredients I had on hand. I used half a minced onion and 3 minced garlic cloves instead of the onion pwdr. and the garlic powder. I used a little garlic salt, half the mustard amount, few tbsp. molasses and some golden syrup.(I like mine a little sweet!
I didn't have any liquid smoke at all. It was really tasty and had a nice kick to it. My kids gulped it and even licked their plates! Thanks for the recipe, I'll be using this often!
