Although you can't see the chees e or the onion, the bread does have the flavors in it. I kept an eye on the bread for about the first 10 minutes and saw that it needed a little extra water to bring the dough together. I ended up adding about 3 more tablespoons. The loaf filled the pan and was light and airy when sliced.

There is nothing special with the ingredients in this recipe but the flavour is terrific. I added extra onions and cheese and thought the results were fantastic. Love my bread machine and these ingredients will be in it often. Thanks Bonnie b

This bread looked so pretty in the picture that was submitted, I just had at try it. And let me tell you, I smells and taste even better than it looks. Made exactly as directed, well almost, I did add just a little more cheese than the recipe called for. Great recipe.

Oh wow!! This was fabulous. I used the powdered milk and ended up with a chewy-moist loaf. YUM!

The bread turned out good, but maybe a little heavy. But I did use two cups of whole wheat and two cups of white flour, so that may have been why. I think I expected a little more of a cheesy flavor too. It was quickly eaten and enjoyed in our household.

The first loaf I made I didn't have any cheddar so I omitted it and it tasted delicious! The second loaf I made with sharp cheddar and didn't notice any discernable difference in taste. Next time I might try a sharper cheese. I enjoyed it warm right out of the oven with lots of butter, and so did DH but he also made sandwiches out of it for his lunches. BTW, I made the dough in my bread machine, placed it in a bread pan and let it rise, and then finished baking it in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Great recipe! Thanks Bonnie!
