I really love this recipe for several reasons. Mostly because it is so quick and easy. Second because it is good for those watching their weight; and third because it makes a small quantity. It is a great recipe for those empty nesters, such as myself and DH. I did make them in the mini muffin pan, so instead of 12 muffins, I had 24. I baked them for 10 minutes and they were perfect.

A really tasty low-fat treat - I need my daily chocolate fix even when dieting and these fit the bill perfectly! Used part whole wheat flour and left out 1 tbls of sugar as my applesauce was slightly sweetened. Baked in paper muffin cups and had no problems peeling the paper off of the cupcake!
Great recipe, thanks for sharing!

I love the texture, but I wanted them to be a little more chocolately. Next time I'll use more cocoa or add mini-chocolate chips. A good base recipe though. Thanks.

I agree with previous reviewers that these are more like cupcakes than brownies, but they're good whatever you want to call them =) They definitely do taste diet, but they're a great chocolate fix for those of us watching our weight. And I do like the fact that this doesn't make too many - less temptation that way!

These were fast to put together and really easy to eat! Nice flavor and good texture for a very low fat baked good. I also loved that there were no eggs in this one. I used a little more cocoa powder then called for (to use up what was left) and they were nice and fudgy. I also used whole wheat pastry flour (I don't keep white flour in the house) and they were great. Thanks!

Made these for a bake sale as they are a lot of Weight Watchers in my office (including me!) - they were very tasty! Thanks Aunt Paula!

This is a wonderful recipe! I made it in a medium size pie dish, then cut it into wedges. It's great for a chocolate craving without all the "bad" stuff!! Thanks for sharing; I will be making this one on a regular basis!!

Very tasty brownies. Not too sweet and mine came out nice and fluffy. I used mini-muffin tins and the recipe made 20 of them. Especially good with a little no sugar added vanilla ice cream on top!

Boy are these delicious!!! We are chocolate hounds so I added a bit more cocoa and a couple of Tablespoons of Ghirardelli chocolate chips. I also sprayed the pan using Pam with flour - they popped out perfectly. I have to admit too — I made six larger muffins - I figured the points were so low it wouldn't matter. Thanks for a wonderful comfort food!
