17 Reviews of Quick and Easy Grilled Pork Chops (Or Chicken)(3 Ingredients)

From: * Pamela *

On Sep 8, 2004

Great recipe and so easy!! I made these using Italian Salad Dressing Mix Italian Dressing Seasoning Dry Mix with 5 boneless pork chops and it turned out so well! I bought more pork chops and during my once a month cooking blitz put a few in a zip lock bag added the dressing and threw it into the freezer. I will defrost these overnight and be ready for a great dinner. Thanks again!

I have used Italian Salad Dressing to marinate chicken breasts but never thought to use it on pork chops. The chops turned out tender and moist (not dried out at all). I think basting them with the butter is the secret. Thanks for sharing this quick and easy recipe, Foxysnana, I'll be making this over and over again.

I love the recipe, I recently watched the movie "supersize me" and was a little iffy' about the calorie count whether to make it or not, So I used fat free italian dressing, ommitted the butter, crossed my fingers and hoped for a similar result, I poured in enough of the italian marinade to keep the porkchops somewhat moist and to my surprise I got a lovely unique tasting batch of porkchops, thankyou for the wonderfull Idea of using Italian dressing for chops'.

I absolutely loved these, and so did the rest of the family. DH is the barbecue man, I marinaded them all afternoon, and he put them on the grill, what a great taste, nice and tender chops. DH was hoping he could take some for lunch for tomorrow, but they were all gone. I want to try this with chicken too, thanks so much for posting.

I am not rating this since I have not fixed yet. You can also use the fat free Italian dresssing to marinate pork steak, before placing on the grill, the steaks are fork tender. I always add a few other spices but it up the the chef to add the spices they like.

Terrific! Definitely a must try! Melt in your mouth goodness! Marinated it for 3 days as my nanny totally forgot about it. Grilled it basting it with the excess marinade (didn't even use butter!) still tasted fantastic! Will definitely do again!

Quick and easy. I did not baste the chops in butter. I poured some olive oil in a pan and fry them up. I paired it up with green beans slightly seasoned with the same dressing, that was left over in the bottle. Overall a good OAMC recipe.

This is a quick and easy meal, not to mention delicious! I made this up ahead and froze it in a freezer bag with the marinade, and it thawed and cooked up terrific. Lots of flavour and so very simple! Thanks for a great addition to my OAMC cookbook!

These are very good. The Italian dressing really gives a nice flavor as well as basting with butter. I did both pork chops and chicken and actually I liked the chicken better. Very easy and a delicious dish. Thanks!

I made 6 large bone-in chops with your recipe last night for me and and my neighbors and boy were we pleased. The chops were from a pig we raised ourself and were just excellent for this. Followed the recipe to a tee and when they came off the grille everyone was smiling. They were perfect! I know I'll be using this quite often this summer for some quick and easy grilling. Thank you for sharing this. Chuck
