Great twist for plain canned peas and very easy and yummy! I won't simmer them as long next time, though, as this made them a little soggy/overcooked.

Great simple recipe! My whole family loved these. I didn't have cream so I added 2-3T of wondra flour to the butter and used regular 1% milk. Thank you!

These were the best peas I have ever eaten. I have never had peas dressed in any way before, just plain ol butter and salt, so these to me were a big "WOW!" Unfortunately I didn't have time to snap a picture of them, but I will be making them again, and I will get a shot next time!

I thickened a little with some flour and water and we had the peas and gravy over boiled potatoes and oh what a comfort fest! We loved them and will have many times this winter!

I gave this recipe 2 stars. My family thought these peas were just alright nothing special. I followed the recipe as directed since it's such a small amount of sugar. I don't think I'd make these again. Thanks christine (internetnut)
