42 Reviews of Crab Rangoon Dip

From: Darling76

On Oct 15, 2005

This was a great tasting dip! We ate the whole thing at one sitting. I served it as a side dish along side egg drop soup and pork fried rice. My husband LOVES crab rangoon and this is a little bit healthier. I used the 1/3 reduced fat cream cheese, and followed the instructions to a "T". I recommend making the dip a day in advance to let the flavors mingle. Also serve in a crock pot to keep warm. The flavor is not as good room temp. Thanks for a great recipe! I enjoyed eating the wontons even after the dip is gone!

Wonderful! It was so nice to not have to fry wontons yet get all of the delicious taste of wontons. I followed the recipe with the exception of using a 4.5 ounce can of crabmeat instead of the 6 ounces of imitation crabmeat. I used Sweet and Sour Sauce for Sweet and Sour sauce.

This was great. I wasn't sure about the sweet & sour sauce, so I left that out. The baked wontons added a nice touch.

Fantastic!! Easy and tasty. I LOVED the chips!!! I sprinkled them with a little bit of kosher salt instead of the parm. I served this with The Best Sweet and Sour Sauce #76003. I am definate making this soon. And putting it in my tried and true cookbook.

This was just fantastic! I made it over the holidays and it got rave reviews from everyone. The sweet & sour sauce was a great finisher on top, definately not too overpowering. I'll be making this again and again, it was so easy! Thank you!

We really enjoyed this dip very much. The star here though are the 'dippers'. What a great idea and a perfect accompaniment. Thanks so much for posting; and many thanks to your sis-in-law too!

Yummy! Much quicker than wrapping the Rangoons individually, ha ha. Thanks Chris!

This is really great! Made it for a dinner party and had rave reviews! I didnt have sweet and sour sauce, so I left that out. As for the baking of the wanton strips, I baked mine at 250Degrees for 12 mins.

Just by ingredients alone I knew it was a winner in my house, so I doubled the recipe! Everyone loved it! Made it exactly as shown no changes needed in my book. Very easy and very good. Thanx for the addition to my cookbook.
