This makes wonderful, tasty, flavorful BBQ sandwiches! It is so easy, you won't believe it - perfect for a weekday meal, for entertaining (because you do not have to cook, while guests are there), and the recipe could easily be adjusted for a large crowd. The only things that I did differently was sprinkle the chicken breasts with garlic salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper; add a few dahses of hot sauce to the BBQ sauce; and throw in some diced green chiles for the last 1/2 hour of cooking time(I, too, shredded the meat during the last 1/2 of cooking time, so that the meat could soak up the sauce and flavors). Served it with BBQ beans and corn, which was perfect with it. Wonderful, simple recipe - thanks for sharing a great idea!

This is great for an easy meal and my family loved it. I used frozen chicken breasts and used the leftovers for nachos the next day. Thanks for the recipe!

I agree this was just too easy and it tasted really good as well. I used my own homemade barbeque sauce that I can each year and it was great. I found I need to add a little water on the bottom of the crockpot to keep it from burning and sticking to the bottom of the crockpot even on low heat. Definitely a keeper, Thanks.

YUM!! Couldn't be easier or tastier! I used frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cooked in the crockpot on high for 4 hours with great results. I followed the advice of several reviewers and shredded the chicken for the last half hour of cooking, and would do the same next time.

This is a delicious and easy recipe that I'm glad I tried. Don't forget to spray non-stick cooking spray in your crock pot before adding the ingredients, which will save time on cleaning up. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Kree, this is so great and so EZ!!!!! I used whatever was open in the frige and just let it go...twice in fact the second time with a small pork loin. Both with awesome results. Used my trick for my BBQ beef recipe and instead ofr shredding with a fork, use your potato masher....works like a charm! I did shredd it in the crockpot then let it absorb the juices for about an hour with the lid slightly ajar. Thanks kiddo!

This was a wonderful quick meal. Put frozen chicken and BBQ sauce in crock before work and shredded it when I got home. I also added a little worcestershire, brown sugar and sliced green pepper the 1/2 hour before serving. It was a very nice summer meal and the entire family enjoyed. I think will bring this dish the next time one is needed for a party. Thanks!

What a great recipe this it!! I sprinkled alittle of Emerils essence on each breast before adding them to the crock pot and I also added a few drops of hot sauce to the bar-b-que sauce. Wow...was this ever good!!!! I decided around 3PM to make this and put it into the crock on high and it was done perfectly in 4 hrs. Thanks Kree!

This was really good!!Although next time I will use a spicier BBQ sauce. I did use the KC Masterpiece Original, and it was a little plain for me. Other than that, this was a simple, great tasting meal that won't heat up your kitchen! Thanks mucho!

WOW!! I can't believe that I (or anyone else) didn't think of this earlier!! I made this while out RVing on Coronado Island. We (our family of 5) and the in-laws LOVED it! I used 2 lb. of chick. breast with a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's and one Sweet Onion (which I'll omit next time) and cooked it for 6.5-7 hours. Shredded it and served it on homemade buns - viola! I did have to take out about 2 cups of liquid when it was done cooking - so it wasn't so soupy...
